Jessie
He stared at the TV. Another stupid romantic comedy. Why was he watching this again? He wasn't sure himself. He should be watching something manly. Like a football match or something like that. Yet he felt a small comfort watching the pair smile at each other and walk down the dark street. He sat staring at the couple while taking large gulps of beer. He glanced at his table, which had 3 letters that he got this morning. With two swift moves, he stood leaning on the table. Automatically, ripping the letters up like a machine. Letter number one. Gas bill. £70.
Letter number two. Apartment bill. £60. Letter number three. A leaflet. Join the- he huffed. Not reading anymore, he threw it away, along with the envolopes. Grabbing his computer from the desk, he opened up Google, tapping a few times; he got on his bank. Slowly typing in his pin, makeing sure everything is correct****
A number appeared on the screen.

He sighed and smacked his forehead. He needs a job. Now.Quickly looking back at the TV, the adverts were on now. Different product's flashes on the screen. He didn't pay much attention to them, though. Opening another can of beer he peeked at the TV screen again. Still adverts. Yet this one had him stop and stare.
'Be proud to make a difference! Join the Army, better you, better future'
He thought about it.
Why not? It would do him good. Just think about the end results. THINK ABOUT THE MONEY. He shook his head. Are you crazy? He thought to himself. You wouldn't survive a day in the army.
And so he continued to sit there, watching a romantic comedy.
Alone.
