I made it through my first tour with Keith urban and Jason Aldean. Those guys are awesome. We played 15 shows acrossed the United States. Now I'm home just vegging out catching up on my lost sleep.

"Goodmorning baby." Caroline said comin into my room looking for something.

"Mornin' watch ya looking for?" I asked as I sat up in my bed.

"Just making sure I have everything here from tour."

"Ahh." I said. "How are you up so early any how?" I asked. She crawled over on my bed and kissed me.

"Well I haven't been playing music while I was on tour. I slept a lot I guess." She answered. "Now get up its almost eleven."

"You kidding? Right?" She just shook her head. I shot outta bed and went to take a shower. I stood in there with thoughts beyond thoughts running through my head. I got out dried off and wrapped the towel around my waste. I shaved or trimmed my scruff and then brushed my teeth. I was planning on it being a mostly lazy day so I just threw on some basketball shorts and a shirt then I went down stairs.

I sat on the couch to watch some tv. Buck commander was on it was my favorite show that just started to air. I know a couple of the guys that are a part of it so it's pretty cool.

"You didn't have to darlin." I said as Caroline walked me over a homemade waffle and bacon.

"But I did." She smiled then walked away.

I could hear bickering in the kitchen. Like a lot of it so I stood up and took my dirty dishes with and rinsed them. I looked at Caroline and she was crying. She hung up her phone and just looked at me. Then she ran to me and pulled me in a hug. A really tight hug. My shoulder was getting wet from the tears but I didn't give a care.

"What's wrong baby?" Asked as I kissed her head. No answer she just sniffled. "Carol." I said as I pulled her from me holding her shoulders.

"Kendra and Joshua got into a car accident." She cried. Kendra and josh are a couple of Caroline's good friends and now I was getting to know them josh was a good friend of mine as well.

"Oh baby I'm so sorry." I wrapped her in a hug. "Will everything be okay?"

"They lost the baby and had to do an emergency C-section to get it out. Josh is in a coma with a broken arm, shoulder and cracked collar bone and Kendra broke her pelvis and bruised her spinal cord. Luke she could have been paralyzed." She sniffled. "The doctor said the baby saved her life even though the baby didn't make it."

Josh and Kendra have been pregnant together for 8 months. The baby could have came anytime. How much more stress could I be put under? I asked myself as I had Caroline wrapped in a tight hug. I rested my head on hers. "We are going to go see them." I said.

"We just got home. And we can't go today, the doctor said visitors can come in two days." I thought for a second. That's ridiculous. What if josh doesn't make it we can't go see them?

"We are leaving in two days to go see them.." I said. A tear rolled down my cheek. The thought of danger in car crashes filled me. Chris, josh and Kendra. Who else?
