Untitled Story Part

WARNINGS: swearing, and oh god so much fluff 0_o

Setting up the tripod and camera was a lot more difficult than I expected. With the constant distraction of an 8 week old bundle of fluff pitter-pattering around the living room, it took longer than usual to do. There was quite a while until Dan would be back but I still couldn't help rushing round the room like a maniac, hyping the tiny puppy up as it followed me.

Once everything was finally sorted, I took my place on the sofa, bundling the puppy into my arms. Whining quietly, it peered up at me, golden brown fur tickling my arms as I took in the tiny features of the shiba inu I was cuddling.

"God, you're so cute." I whispered, stroking under his chin gently. "Dan's going to love you."

Taking a deep breath I turned on the camera sitting back down and smiling brightly.

"Hey guys!" I greeted the empty room. "Now as many of you might know, me and Dan have been talking about getting a dog for a while now... and well, here he is." I laughed, tilting the puppy towards the camera, earning a little yelp from him.

I placed him on my lap, stroking behind his ears as he nestled into my hand. It was unbelievable how well behaved he already was as he made himself comfortable on me, wiggling every now and then.

"Anyway..." I laughed off, returning back to the plan. "Dan's out with some friends at the moment, he should be back soon, and he has no idea about this little one right here." I giggled. "I'm gonna leave the camera here and when he gets back I'm gonna just let him walk in on this one. His reactions gonna be priceless."

Turning off the camera again, I settled back into the sofa, tugging on a toy from the puppies mouth as it jumped up and down excitedly.

To Phil: from Dan

- Almost home, got some stuff for dinner as well xx

Jumping up I darted towards the camera, switching it on. Quickly I grabbed the cardboard box off the table, arranging the Pokémon blanket inside it before gently placing the puppy inside it. It's small figure looked even more adorable in the box, if that was even possible. I sat next to it on the sofa, putting its toy in with it, stroking his head and giving a thumbs up to the camera.

In no time I heard a slam of the door, my queue to leave. Running to my room, I closed the door slightly, hearing a quiet whimper from the living room, making my heart break a little bit.

"Phil I'm back... Phil?" The creaking of the stairs sped up as Dan rushed up them, quickly turning the corner into the living room. "Phil?"

Following after him, I stood in the door way just as he stepped towards the sofa, a "What the fuck?" escaping his lips as he saw the cardboard box on the sofa.

Hesitating slightly, he stepped closer to it, only then noticing a tiny whine and a ball of fluff wiggling around in it.

"Oh my god! Holy shit... what? Phil?! Phil oh my god! Where the fuck are you?!" His words were mixed with genuine laughter as he sat down, gently reaching into the box with shaking hands. "Oh my god..."

The floor boards creeked as I entered, unable to remove the smile on my face as I watched Dan pull the puppy against his chest. Spinning around at the noise, his eyes lit up even more as he spotted me, "Phil..." he whispered as I sat down next to him.

"He's adorable, right?" I laugh, leaning across to scratch behind the shiba's ears.

"He's so adorable, jesus christ I can't believe you did this." The smile didn't drop once as he whispered to the wide eyed puppy, holding it almost like a baby in his arms. "Thank you so much." His eyes were watery as he stared up at me, before turning his head and spotting the camera.

"Oh my god Phil! I didn't know you were filming!" He laughed "For God's sake Phil, you 'lil shit." He tried to sound mad but he couldn't stop giggling about everything, constantly looking between me and the tiny puppy.

Leaning over he gently placed his lips against mine, moving slowly as I reached out to cup his cheek. It didn't last long before the puppy was stretching out his paws between us, making us pull apart.

While keeping just as close as we were, he whispered, "Keep that bit in," before turning towards the camera and giggling.

The video didn't need much editing and was put up later that night. I had done all the editing, leaving Dan playing with the excited puppy all evening. As soon as it had been uploaded and links were tweeted, I made my way to the living room, laptop in hand. I find dan laying across his sofa crease, slouching with the laptop on his thighs and the puppy curled up in a ball on his chest.

"We really need to name him Dan." I sighed as I sat beside him, leaning into him.

"It's so hard, I feel like I'm naming a child." He laughed, planting a kiss on my cheek. "Is the video up?"

"Yep." I opened up Twitter and tumblr on my laptop, my notifications already going through the roof. "I think we've finally broken them." I laughed, making the puppy stir slightly in its sleep.

"A dog and phan coming out, we've really out done ourselves this time." He smiled brightly before wrapping his arm around me as I scrolled through all the responses.

"God I love you Phil." He whispered against me.

"I love you too."
