I scooted towards you and held your hands in mine. That's when it happened. Everything went black ...I became scared. I looked around, and saw nothing. It was overwhelming. But suddenly, in the distance...I heard a voice...it was Gwyn. She was very faint. I tried to concentrate on moving towards it. My head began to hurt with every step closer. My knees were weak, and I felt like I was going to fall over. I was swimming in an ocean of blackness, with no hope but to follow her voice. I kept going, for her. It became clearer and clearer. I could almost make out a word. "Hope"? I pushed myself until I couldn't anymore, and fell over. That's when I heard my name. It was music to my ears. I gathered up my strength for a final stride, and then it became clear to me. I snapped awake, still holding onto her hands, as she was trying to get my attention. "Cordell?" She kept asking. I looked up at her, and without saying a word. "Umm....sorry. Just got a little dizzy all of a sudden".
