chapter1

Lilly was sitting on her couch, when she suddenly heard a soft knock.

She already knew it was Zach who knocked, her neighbor he moved in the apartment across from hers.

He knows that she has a crush on him since the first day they met.

Lilly is in college and Zach works as an accountant at a company.

She opened the door and he was standing there with a bowl of popcorn and a bottle of soda.

"Thank you" said Lilly taking the things to the coffee table along with the other snacks.

"So what movie did you pick".

"Fifty shades of grey" she said poker faced.

"Really" he said scratching the back of his head.

"Ofcourse not silly, I already watched that one" she said.

"Very funny" he remarked sarcastically and sitting down.

"I picked the gallows" she said.

"Paranormal oh me like" he said.

They were half way through the movie and so far she handled herself lretty well, Zach was also handling things fine.

The camera started moving like eyes roaming around in search for something and...

"Shit-Fuck" yelled Lilly as she jumped into Zach's lap, the dead bodies were in front of the camera.

She sat there laughing her butt off with Zach.

"Okay okay now that scared me" she said finally looking him in the eyes.

They're eyes locked for a moment, she leaned forward her lips slightly parted and so did he, they kissed but soon broke it off by screaming from the girl.

She sat back in her spot and they silently watched the movie till the end.

But the only thing her mind focused on was, what's next.

Were they going to act as if nothing happened or will whatever that happened finally be something.

"Well I guess I should be leaving" said Zach after a few minutes.

"Ugh yeah" she quickly got up and he followed behind her. She stopped as she reached the wall where the front door was situated.

"Are we not going to talk about what just happened?" She asked.

"Listen Lilly" he started and started scratching the back of his head.

"Yeah?" Said Lilly.

"It..it was just in the heat of the moment" he said taking a step closer as she stared at the ground.

Ofcourse it was, he will never like you.
The voice in her mind reminded her.

"I know" she whispered softly.

"Ah fuck it" he said taking a step closer and taking her cheeks in his hands and kissing her.

She kissed him back, he picked her up and pinned her against the wall her legs around his waste and her hands roaming all about his body and hair.

"I'm sorry" he said while setting her down, trying to get out of her apartment.

"Sorry for what" she asked confused.

"For doing that, I...I shouldn't have"

"What are you saying" she finally snapped.

"I want this" she said.

"You don't okay" he said irritated.

"You know nothing, I have always wanted this" she said holding him by the shoulder.

"For so long" she said exausted.

"No" he said and he stormed out. He walked down the hallway to who knows where all she knew for sure was that she was broken.

3 days later.

She hasn't seen Zach in three days, and it was going well for her, when she was on campus she would feel free, she was going to a club with her friends today she was really excited.

○on the phone○

"you know you will meet someone" said her friend Brittany.

"You always say that you know" said Lilly grabbing a short dress from her closet.

"But this time you will find one, or we won't be leaving" said Brittany.

"What" she said laughing.

"You heard me girl" said Brittany.

"Alright text me when you get here, I'm gonna get ready now, love you"

"Love you too"

Lilly got dressed in a neon pink dress that went a little more past her thighs, she had nude pumps on and a tiny clutch, her hair was loose and hung nicely on her back.
