Farewell

A2 stopped his Knightmare. "Yuto has her..." He mumbled then saw the Black Knights advancing on his monitor. "Alright. First Nori, then D2." He reached up and touched the necklace on his neck before moving.

"Where is Princess Euphemia?!" Quinine yelled to her soldiers.

"No sight of her yet, my lord." A solider said.

Quinine gritted her teeth. Nori and A2 must be after her. She thought to herself before rolling out.

Nori stuck her sword into a solider. "Come on, Euphemia must be somewhere." She mumbled. She moved quickly around in her Knightmare. She caught herself in a reflection and saw the Geass in her eye. What damage could I cause? She thought. She could of became Euphemia and killed the Japanese. No one would of been the wiser. Nori quickly shook her head of such thoughts. "Focus." She told herself.

Yuto quickly started to move. "Found Euphemia." He said. Though didn't like someone else was there.

Nori heard from a far. "Euphie!" She quickly started to drive, but started to get shot at. "No!" She quickly turned around and used her Wave Surger. "Kallen! Kallen, don't do anything!" She yelled even though they couldn't hear her.

She looked up when she saw Zero. Her shoulders slummed slightly. She finished the last solider off before watching from a far. She started to roll forward slowly. Then stopped when he pulled the gun out. She froze. "No.... No! Lelouch!"

Then there was a shot.

Nori's eyes widened and she felt everything go numb in her body. I'm sorry... Maybe I had cursed you all this time... She thought as she watched Euphiemia slowly fall back.

She looked up and saw Suzaku fly in suddenly. Nori blinked then quickly started to roll forward. She watched as he took down C2 and Kallen. Taking Euphemia. She quickly lifted her gun and started to shoot. "No! Stop!" She heard Zero say.

Nori paused and lowered her gun. "Fine." She mumbled. She decided to help Kallen and C2 then, head with them to go meet the Kyoto house.

Once they got there, she sighed. "I'll just guard the base in my Knightmare. You guys can go in." She said in her microphone. Zero nodded and walked in. Nori sat quietly in the Knightmare, trying her best not to breakdown.

Yuto was quiet then clicked a button. "Never mind about Euphemia..." He said knowing that her time was short.

Quinine quietly waited outside the medical room in which Euphemia was in and watched as Cecilia and Earl came out. "Is she...?" Quinine said softly.

They were both quiet. Quinine silently cursed herself. If I did more research on Geass... She thought to herself and gripped her hand.

Nori stayed by the Black Knights with a bandage around her Geass eye. She had grabbed it from the Britannia based they conquered. She looked over at Zero and thought about his eye. Is this the only way we could of defeat Britannia...?

"People of Japan and all those suppressed by The Empire of Britannia!" Zero started. "Long have I waited all through the struggles of Britannia's injustices. I've waited for them to come to their senses, but that hope was betrayed by a act of barbarism that can only be called genocide. Euphiemia is the symbol of Britannia's hypocrisy. A murder cloaked in the mask of a nation! I hereby declare our independence from Britannia! But don't take this as the means to resurrection of your fallen nation. We will not turn back the hands of time! The new Japan that we go on to build shall be the one boughten up to except all peoples histories and ideologies. Where the strong will not rain over the weak! And it shall be called the United States of Japan!"
