Luciana's POV

I huffed and puffed, running away from the oncoming sirens that were chasing me. I ducked into an alley, running down to the next street. I quickly turned right, sprinting down the long sidewalk, dodging the people that talked a language that I couldn't understand. I squeaked as I saw more flashing red and blue lights, and ran the other way.

But there were more the other way. I kept running, turning into yet another alley. I put the hood of the stolen hoodie up, and took a breath, letting my dark black hair out of the sides of my hoodie. But I didnt have a moment to waste. I took a right out of the alley and made my way to the ocean that separated the island and the mainland. Apparently I was in New York, some American state that was crawling with anything you could think of. The island was called Long Island, but those words were the only English words that seemed to make sense at that moment.

I gasped for air, running to the ferry station, quickly hopping on the ferry that would take me to the island. Taking deep breaths, I sat down on one of the seats, gaining my energy for another run. I believed that the police on the mainland, as I called it, had talked with the police on the island, telling them to watch out for her. My plan? Get out of the city, and hide somewhere in the forest.

The ferry stopped at the docks, and I quickly hopped off and ran into the city. I ran through alleys, along sidewalks, and across streets. My belief became true. I heard the sounds of sirens, and saw red and blue lights illuminating the already bright streets behind me. I sighed, and kept on running.

I quickly found a forest, and ran into it, dodging the trees and animals. I slowly came to a stop, and leaned on a nearby tree. I stayed there for a moment as I caught my breath. I laughed, a grin across her face.

I looked back, continuing to laugh, not seeing any lights. I continued walking forward. It wasn't long until I saw a road. I sprinted across it with ease, and continued walking. My eyes widened at the landscape in front of me. Strawberries, cabins, a two story home, an arena. I recalled having seen something much bigger compared to this arena, but I shrugged it off. I looked around, and noticed a male approaching me. I waved at him.

"Hey there!" He said, but I couldn't understand him. "My name is Percy Jackson. Come in, you're right on time for the campfire!"

I tilted my head in confusion. "Huh?" It was easy to know that his name was Percy Jackson, because he put his hand on his chest as he said it. "Percy...Jackson?" I spoke, my italian accent thick. "Hello, Percy Jackson!" I greeted, managing to only speak in my language.

He smiled. "Hi!" He looked slightly confused, but realized I wasn't American. He thought for a moment, and waved for me to follow. Understanding this, I followed after him.

He lead me to the campfire, and spoke with what looked like a man in front of a horse, but I soon realized that the man and the horse were...conjoined. I tilted my head in confusion at this, but shrugged it off. The horseman turned around to face me, and led me over to the two story house. He opened the front door for me, and I entered. He guided me to a table, and I sat down.

"Hello." He smiled, speaking italian.
