Ben pov
When Mal Said that I started walked over to her, wrapped my hands around her waist, and laid my head on hers. " Mal, nothing you say can hurt me more than you not saying anything." She laced her fingers with mine and looked at me. "I love you, Mal please say something." I beg her. "Why can't we just stand here and not say a word?" She said peacefully. I sigh and give up trying to talk to her. We sit there for like ten minutes, just staring out of the window. Mal turned to me and then said "So we need to clean the kitchen and finish our conversation now." I laughed and then followed her to the kitchen. We cleaned quietly and when we were done, I led her to the couch so we could talk. "So, where we?" I asked looking straight in her eyes. " I believe we were talking about your little mistake." She looked back into my eyes crossing her leg Indian style. "Right so say something." I smiled and leaned back a bit. "Ben, was she your first?" She asked and my heart felt like a bomb that had just been lit. "Yes, she was. Why?" I asked sitting up and looking down. I could tell that Mal was sad too because she didn't say anything for a while. "Ben, please tell me you're kidding." I looked away and she sighed. "Ben, I always thought I would be the one you did this kind of thing with." She sounded really disappointed. "Mal, I told you I love you, and I mean it. That one night stand, was a mistake and if I could change it I would." I say giving Mal an opportunity to yell at me. "Benjamin, don't you get it. You can't change this. That kid is always gonna be there to remind me of your mistake. I don't get a break to just forget." She snapped mad and sad. I saw a tear run down her cheek. I pulled her into a hug and said. "Mal, I know. I'm sorry." She pushed away and ran to her room where she locked the door.
