"Ready babe?" KF picked me up.

"Oh... You two are..."

"Oh, yeah. Apollo. You can take my motorcycle. It's the green one over there. We'll catch up."

"Yeah okay..." He got on and rode it to the bridge.

Wally ran next to him, with my in his arms. "Captain Cold should be here somewhere." Wally set me down.

"Looking for me, kiddies?" Cold said from behind us.

"We sure are." Apollo spoke up. "So put them where we can see 'em." He aimed an arrow at Cold.

But before Apollo could do anymore, Cold used his ice gun and shot him, freezing him in his spot. "Apollo!" I yelled.

"Use some sort of heat arrow or something Artey! I got cold." KF ran off. I heard him mumble something.

I turned to Apollo. "What to do? What to do? Ah, got it!" I whispered to myself. I took a heat arrow from my quiver and pushed it against the ice block, where his face was. I pushed it so hard, I thought the wooden part would light on fire. When I was inches from him, I then took a regular arrow and shoved it into the ice block. In doing that, it cracked and fell off piece by piece, until he was all the way uncovered.
There were people in the background screaming and yelling. "Artemis! Get these people out of here!" KF yelled at me. Not like he use to either, it was a mean way.

"On it!" I yelled back as I shuffled around, getting people off the bridge. As soon as everyone was off I shot an arrow which closed off all the entryways to get on the bridge.

"Heads up!" Apollo yelled at me.

I ducked down as something flew over my head. "Thanks!" I race over to where if and Apollo were. Apollo shot an arrow and knocked Cold's gun out of his hand. Then KF took a rope and tied him up.

On the com KF always has, he said, "We got him. Police are on their way."

"Great job, Wally." I said and gave him a hug.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever." He pushed me off.

"What is the matter with you?" I questioned him.

"The matter with me? With me? What's the matter with you?!" He yelled at me. "I'll see you at the cave." Again, he sped off.

"Apollo, could you give me a ride?" I looked at him.

"It's your motorcycle, of course I can, hop on." He gave me a helmet, then went to the cave.

"Thanks." I said and ran to the kitchen, to see Wally sitting on a barstool. "Hey, you okay?" I rub his back and sit next to him.

"No. I'm not okay. The new kid has googly eyes for you!"

"He does not."

"Does to, he lights up when he talks to you. Don't you see it?"

"He does?"

"Yeah, it's disgusting! How could you not notice?"

"Because, you're the only boy I notice, Wally." I smile at him, brightly.

He smiles back at me and bops my nose. "Aww, babe, I have to go, but be safe."

I give him a small smile and wave as he races off. I wonder where he's going? Oh well. That's when Robin walked into the kitchen. "Well, you're alone in the kitchen. What'd Wally do this time?" He smirked.

"Nothing, he just left." I smiled.

"Well since I'm here, do you want anything ma'am?"

"Yes, sir, cream potatoes with peas and spicy chicken." I joked.

"Okay, just what I was thinking." He got out a pan.

"Woah, really?"

"Yeah, I have dinner duty tonight."

"Oh, right, I forgot we do that." I laughed.

"And what you suggested is what we're having." He smiled. I watched in awe, as he cut up the potatoes and put them in a pot. He mixed up some gravy and put the peas in. After he added the potatoes and some salt and pepper. "Wanna be my taste tester?" He looked at me.

"What?" I question as I got out of my daze. "Oh, yeah, sure."

"Yay!" He grabbed a different spoon and took a little out of the pot and handed it to me. "Careful, it's hot." He blew on it.

"Thanks." I raised an eyebrow. I tasted it when he looked at me with a huge grin. "Wow Robin, this is the best I've ever tasted!" I told him.

"Thank you." He said.

"It's great!"

"Thanks, it was my mother's recipe." He smiled, a true smile. "But we should get the team in for dinner, unless they're going home to eat, with their families."

"Yeah, we probably should."

On the intercom, he told the team to come in for dinner. Maybe 8 minutes later, Connor, M'gann, and Aqualad came into the dining room. Even Apollo came in. He didn't really fit, since the team had certain seats the like. M'gann sat close to the end, Connor across from her. Aqualad next to Connor, I sat next to M'gann and Wally sat next to me. Robin sat across from Wally, and there was an end seat, but usually someone that makes dinner for us, like Alfred, or (yes) sometimes even Batman.

"Apollo, you can sit at the end seat if Wally shows up, if not you can have his seat." M'gann offered.

"Also, don't get use to dinner every night, our best chef is never here." I groan and look at Robin.

"Hey hey! It's not my fault." He took out some oven mitts and brought over our food. He then brought some bowls. "Eat up."

He dished a bowl for himself. Then everyone dished themselves. Everyone ate, and M'gann picked up dinner after. Supes and her went to the garage at 'fix' motorcycles like they always do. I went to my room and didn't even care what everyone else did. I sat on the floor and pulled out the homework I missed from this past week and began working on it.

Math, math, and more math. I quickly worked my way through it, for maybe an hour. I was not even half way done, until there was a knock on the door. "Who is it?" I called.

"Robin, may I come in?" Dick asked.

"Yeah, sure, you can help me with this." I laughed as the door slid open.

"What do you need help on?" He came and sat next to me.

"This," I handed him a sheet of my homework.

"This is easy! And I'm a grade lower than you." He laughed.

"Yeah, yeah, but you're a boy genius! I'm sure if the school knew how smart you are, you'd be graduated."

"Oh, technically I am, but I have to keep going to school so people don't get suspicious."

"Ah, okay." I nodded as I did some homework, almost forgetting Dick was there.

He spoke up maybe 3 minutes later. "Artemis?" I opened my mouth to speak, but he sushed me with a finger pressed against my lips. "The reason I came here was to tell you how I really feel." He took his finger off my lips. "I-I... Well, truth is..." He rubbed the back of his neck. "Truth out is I really like you. You're beautiful, strong, smart and just like me you have no powers. Your personality is amazing, your funny and... And, I think I'm in love with you."

"But... I'm in love with someone else. I'm- I'm sorry Dick, but I have to stay true, to my heart. And it doesn't want you." I stood up. "You should probably leave." I whisper and open my door. "I have homework I need to do."

He got up, with a sad face he left my room. I shut the door behind him. I sat on my floor and finished my homework, I was sorry for what I did, but I thought of Dick just as a friend, plus I have Wally. He's all I need where ever he was.

Speaking of that, where did Wally go? He doesn't ever miss his second dinner here at the cave.
