* so I guess I had this written a long time ago, so I just decided to post it lol sorry for the typos and what not I literally wrote it over a year ago. I may or may not keep up with this....I haven't decided*
Chapter 4
Fuck what do I wear I screamed inside my head
Jaylen was going to be here in less than 10 mintues and I had no clue what to wear!
What do people even wear to dates? Was this even a date? She said other people would be coming, so surely this wasn't a date, but what the fuck should I wear?

My phone vibrated from a text I threw the shirts I had in my hands on the bed to check it out.

Shiiiiiiit five minutes !!
I quckily decided on some plain black jeans and a simple blue plaid button up with my thrift store polo boots.
Before now I never really cared what people thought of my thrift store clothes but now I was embarrassed jaylen had money and was always dressed well but , I mean this was all I could afford Dez and her brother offered to buy my clothes all the time but I was already living with them and I just couldn't take anymore from them
*ding dong*
It was her! My heart felt like it was going to burst I was so nervous I practically tripped down the stairs
I took a deep breath and my eyes nearly popped out of my head when I opened the door.
She was literally perfect ! She was wearing black leggings with black doc martens and she had on a purple crop top that showed off her perfectly toned stomach and her belly button ring. Images of what else was under those clothes popped in my head.
" Earth to Sage" jaylen giggled
" uhh what" I said pulling my eyes away from her body
" I said are you ready to go ?" She laughed
" oh yeah" I said trying to play it off
Jaylen walked me to the passenger side of the car and open the door for me, was this what people do when they just hang out?
" thanks " I smiled as I got into her car
" my pleasure" she grinned
As Jaylen and I drove to the movie theaters she talked about how excited she was to see the movie and that her other friends Autumn, Derek, and Monica would meet us there she told me a little about each of them and that they were all college students and had just graduated last year, but she hung out with them every once in awhile to stay in touch.
As we pulled up to the theater it was packed Jaylens phone rang and she began to talk
" where are you ?"
"What......seriously ? .....that's dumb.....oh I think I see you guys" and then she hung up
We pulled into literally the last parking spot and there waiting outside of a brand new black camero were three people who I assumed to be her friends.
As she turned off her car she turned to me " so Monica said the movie is completed sold out so we're gonna get together and see what the next move is" and with that she hopped out of the car
" guys this is Sage ! Sage this is Autumn she pointed to a beautiful looking Brazilian girl, Monica another beautiful looking Latina, and Derek a handsome black man....damn they all looked like they could be models.
"Hey "they all said in unison and began to laugh
Derek began to spoke " so Monica and Autumn got to thinking that since the movies all canceled we can just go over to my place call up my boy Q and roll one and get some bottles watcha think Jaylen?"
Roll one? Shit he was talking about weed I had never smoked and I pretty much stayed away from liquor with seeing how it affected my so called family I never really wanted anything to do with it,
" Awww come on D you know Sage and I are in season and coach would kick our asses off the team too fast if she found out, but you know what don't let us mess up your fun yall go and chill and we'll kick it another time " she nonchalantly said
" awwww lame you really gonna be like that ? I guess it's cool tho we'll just hit you up some other time " Monica said and with that they hopped in their car and sped off.
" well it looks like it's just you and me for the night " Jaylen said with a smile
