This World I Hate (on hold)

Explanations

After walking a good fifteen minutes, we finally arrive at Brandon and Ash's base camp. It was actually a good base camp too. They are using a abandoned home that Ems' and I pasted by when we were looking for water. We didn't really want to go in there because we didn't know if anyone was already in there so we just decided to use our tent once we had found water. I never actually thought that someone was using that home, I guess I was wrong.

From what I could see, we are close to the road, but not to close to where anybody can see us. I saw two cars parked and one motorcycle. Hmm, I wonder who rides the motorcycle. The house though didn't look that bad. It looked like a pretty big house to me. I can just tell that there is a upstairs to it. But something seemed different about it. Wait, I don't remember a fence being there, I guess they must of added it.

"Well, this is home sweet home." Brandon said. I laughed. "Here we have six bedrooms, a kitchen, two bathrooms, and one living room."

I nodded. "So Emily and I are going to share a room?" I asked.

Brandon shook his head. "You guy can have your own rooms."

Wait, now I'm confused. Didn't he say there are three others? So three plus two is five right? And then add Ems' and I, you get seven. Didn't he say there were six rooms? "I thought you said six bedrooms?"

"Yeah I did, Jaden and Tony share a room, and Samantha has her own room, and Ash and I have our own as well. You guys can decide if you want to share, or have your own." He replied.

So that explains it. "Sis, I want my own room!" Emily said. I laughed, of course she wanted her own room. Emily has always said how she wished she had her own room but our parents never let have her own. She always had to share with our ten year old cousin, she hated it.

"Okay Ems', you can have your own, just don't cause any trouble for the others please." I said. I knew she wasn't going to cause any trouble anyway.

She started jumping in the air all excited, I shook my head. Why do I get the feeling I'm going to regret this?

We finally go inside the house. "I'll show Emily to her room, then I'll come back down and introduce you to Samantha, Tony, and Jaden." I nodded. Wait, weren't there four of us? Where's Ash?

"I guess we're all by ourselves again huh?" Ash said.

Damn it, I was trying to stay away from her since that little wink kinda freaked me out. I still don't know what that was all about, maybe I should ask later. "Yeah, I guess we are." I replied.

She put her hand behind her head. "Umm, I'm sorry if I freaked you out with the whole wink thing, I noticed how you were kinda staying away from me after I did it." Well it did freak me out but I didn't think she would notice that I was keeping my distance. "It's just you know, your kinda cute." Wait, now I'm being called cute by another girl? Is she gay or something?

"Umm, thanks?" I said with my eyebrow raised. She smiled and walked away leaving me confused once again. Damn it, how many times is that girl going to confuse me? Well, I guess since I'm alone I might as well look around. I dropped my bags next to the couch and walked towards the kitchen I think.

Hmm, this kitchen isn't half bad. There's a table that looks like it can fit ten people, and the cabinets look almost completely full. How the hell did they get all this food? They could feed about twenty people for months with this food! I looked in one cabinet to see what they had. Just a whole bunch of soup and corn. They must be big corn fans.

Just when I was about to reach for one of the cans, someone started yelling "Holy shit! Someone's trying to rob us!" Oh great, this cant end well.

I turn around to see a guy standing across the table with a knife in his hand. He looked about twenty-two twenty-three, he had light brown hair and brown eyes. Great, I better explain before this gets out of hand. "Umm, I don't mean any harm, My sis... Oh shit!" Great now he's trying to stab me, could this day get any better?
