"Stupid Travis! Stupid Major League! I hate it! I should be a Senior like you, Gabby!"

Gabby looked a head and laughed under her breathe.

"There's not really that much of a difference. All it is, is that the girls we go against are better."

"I know!! That's what I want!! The girls I go against are too easy! I need a challenge!...god damn Travis for keeping me back. It wasn't even his choice!"

I just kept ranting on and on. Nothing important, just something to talk about.

The sun was up and bright. People littered the baseball fields. And all the playing fields were occupied by little league, minor league, ect. It was just a normal day for me and Gabby. We walked toward the concession stand to get us some Gatorades. But just as we made the turn toward the Senior League field. Me and Gabby stopped in our tracks.

"Whose that?" asked Gabby.

"I have no clue, maybe the major baseball team?"

"No. There too tall."

We could barley see them, because the concession stand covered it. So we jogged passed it to investigate.

It took us longer than we expected because we had to plow thru people standing in line to get food.

"Man, ain't concession stand food just the best?" asked Gabby as we finally got thru the crowd.

I smiled looking back at the exponential amount of people here. There's never this many people. But since Bonnie(the fields manager) and the President of the field decided to hold a tournament, people from all around are coming.

"Look!" Gabby gasped then hit me on the shoulder to get my attention. I looked a head of me, peeking into the Senior League Baseball Field(which hasn't been used by a Senior Baseball team since before my step-dad was born).

"Hay! That's Greg. I exclaimed, pointing at a tall overweight man. In his early 50's. Standing on the field barking orders at the team of boys. Me and Gabby walked closer and leaned on the fence. We stood behind the catcher. His jersey read "Brett" number 26. Once he turned around to get a ball that flew behind him. The front(to mine and Gabby surprise) read Salt Rock Senior League. Both of our jaws dropped. We both started looking at all the players faces. On the "Hunt For Boys" Gabby later called it.

All of the boys were very cute. Buff and tall. Some went to Barboursville Middle with me and Gabby. My eyes went from 1st to 2nd. To 3rd then they stopped. I'd never in my life seen a boy so...beautiful. My heart skipped a beat. I felt my chest get heavy and knees get weak. I had to grab a hold of the fence to keep myself from falling.

His shaggy hair a blondish red. He was the tallest boy on the team, broad shoulders. Bright orange shocks. He wasn't standing still in ready position like he should have, he was dancing. I fell in love with him the second I saw him.
