Me and Autumn. Perfect bestfriends. She was my other half. While she was griping about being left back in Major league. I saw Ean, he goes to mine and Autumn school. He was in uniform passing ball, which I thought was odd because from what I knew. Ean didn't play on a baseball team. Let alone on Major. Because I knew there weren't a Senior League!

We ran to the field and turned out I was wrong. Salt Rock finally had a Senior League Baseball Team. This. Was. Amazing. Everyone on this team was SUPER hot!! I started checking out the players. I didn't have to look far for me to fall helplessly in love. He stood there, serious stiff, down and ready like he was supposed to(unlike this retard on 3rd who was dancing) he had brown hair. Sorta shaggy. Tall and skinny. Everything about him made me sigh. I never felt the feeling of helplessness and weakness until I laid eyes on him. I didn't know his name. All I knew was I'd marry this boy.

I turned and looked at Autumn. She was staring at the retard on 3rd. I got closer to her to see what her eyes read, she was just as much in love as I was. Autumn. In love. I never thought those two words would go together. She'd once had a boyfriend. Very cute, but he was the bod boy of our school. She was taming him, but something happened. Something terrible on Valentines believe it or not. The bad boy was taken to jail, Autumn will never see him again. She hasn't been the same since then. That day changed her forever. It took her 2 weeks to walk back into her Homeroom class where it all went down. And when she did, she cried the entire time. Normally the teachers would be mad at her. But they all understood, even the principle. She allowed her to go into her office when she felt bad(which was all the time). At first Autumn resented the principle, "It was her fault Anthony was taken" she'd say. And it truly was, no doubt. Man just thinking about that day, about the pain Autumn went thru. It makes me wanna cry.

I straightened up nonetheless and fixed my hair, tried to get noticed by 1st basemen. The ball was hit, making me jump because I forgot about the baseball thing I was so tangled up in my thoughts. The ball shot toward him, he caught it then sprinted to 1st base.

"Good play!" I yelled.

His eyes looked at me. The deepest green. Almost as deep and dark green as Autumn's. He smiled and waved at me.

"Thanks!" He yelled back. Clean, sleek voice. No gravel or high pitch. Perfect. Which made me want to jump and cheer.

He bent back down in ready position, occasionally looking up at me. My heart stopped everytime he did.
