There was a knock on my door. I groaned in response.
"Honey, time to get out of bed. It's a new year!" My mum sang cheerfully while opening my door.
"It's just like any other day of the year, please get out of my room" I growled at her. It was too early to get up. Too early for disappointment. I knew this year would be just as horrible as the last.
My mum sighed and shut the door.
I went back onto my phone. Copying and pasting my tweet to Connor. "@ ConnorFranta please notice me I owe my life to you x3626". It may seem excessive to tweet him this many times but I just want him to know how grateful I am for what he does. I can only hope that he hasn't seen my tweet and ignored it because he knew how much of a waste of space I am. This seems quite likely but I'm not going to give up.
" Trooyyeee" my little brother shouted while bursting into my room.
"Tyde you have to knock" I hissed at him. He knocked on the door and gave me a cheeky smile.
"What do you want?" I asked. He was jumping up and down excitedly.
"Mum and Dad have a surprise for us, get out of bed" and then he ran out of my room, without shutting the goddamn door.
Eventually I decided to get up. Only because I didn't want my siblings to have to wait. I walked into the kitchen and they were all seated around the table.
"Take a seat Troye. So me and your mother have some very exciting news for you. This is a new year, so its time for new beginnings. So kids.." my dad began.
"WE'RE MOVING TO LOS ANGELES, AMERICA" my mum yelled.
There was a chorus of confusion from all of us children.
"But how will I keep my friends?" Sage asked.
"And they don't play AFL there" Tyde added
"I'm 18 I don't have to go do I?" Steele asked.
My parents gave a gentle smile.
"Don't worry America will be lots of fun" Mum reassured.
I wasn't too worried because at least I have nothing to lose.
This chapter has so much dialogue and I'm very sorry. Idk how to write lol.
