I woke up, did my hygiene, put on my clothes, and walked downstairs. As I started cooking I yelled.

"MAY! WHAT YOU WANT FOR BREAKFAST?!"

Silence..

"MAY?! BABY? WHAT YOU WANT FOR BREAKFAST?!"

Silence once again.. I stomped into our bedroom and turned on the light to an empty room. I felt my heart drop. I ran to the bed and cried uncontrollably. It didn't really sink in that she was really gone.. It felt more like a nightmare.. I fucked up, badly.. I guess I was telling the truth when I said this..

You'll never miss a good thing until it's gone..

And I miss May.. I mean, that's five fuckin years down the drain.. Just gone. And why? Cause I was searching for the finer things.. But didn't realize...

The finest thing in the world was right in my face.. Forgiving me time after time.. Even when I know I didn't deserve it...
