Matthew come home and he though that everything was normal no police no one was there so he though. He went into the house and then he was taken into custody for murder and he was sentenced to death. Nova was so angry and upset she didn't believe her friends. She was asked if she wanted to kill him or choose she said no that she didn't want to be like him. About 4 years later Matthews brother found nova and made threats to her for getting Matthew cough. Nova told the police. The police said that there was no record of Matthew having a brother or any family member for that fact. Nova was angry with the police and this man. The police said they couldn't do anything and this man keep sending threats. Nova decided to get away for awhile get out of town. Alexis and Paige didn't like this at all but they let her go.
