Ch.5: Pain

Louis POV

I turned around and there was Niall lying on the ground in pain with Chase, Zayn and Harry looking down at him. Chase extended his hand towards Niall and I thought he was going to help him up when he backhanded Niall. I thought Chase was Liam and Niall’s friend, guess not.

“Hey! Stop that!” Liam and I yelled at the same time.

“Why should we?” Zayn sneered at us when we were near them.

“Chase! What are you doing man?” Liam said, still not believing Chase would do that.

“What? I accidentally collided into him.” Chase smirked.

“Totally” Zayn added and punched Niall in the gut.

“I also just accidentally hit him in the gut.” Zayn smirked. Hearing Niall groan in pain was all we needed to here. Liam charged at Chase while I went to take care of Zayn and Harry.

“Again? Really? When will you guys learn?” I taunted them and punch Harry in the jaw and watched him stumble back to the ground. Zayn looked at his friend and came at me scoring a punch in my stomach. I grunted in pain and he smirked hearing that.

“Is that all you got? Wow you’re worse that a girl!” I stood up straight and punched Zayn in the face then proceeded to grab his arms but by then Harry had gotten back on his feet.

“Stop it!” He said as he grabbed my arms. Or at least tried to as I easily slipped under his arms and punched his stomach, knocking the wind out of him.

“Need some help?” I turned around to see Chase on the floor and he looked like he was not going to come up any time soon.

“Yeah. Which one do you want?” I asked.

“You can take Zayn. I want Harry.” He smirked and punched Harry in the gut as Harry lay another punch on Niall.

Zayn managed to grab my right arm and tried to punch my face but experience taught me to have quick reflexes and I grabbed his fist and pushed him to the ground.

“Payne! Tomlinson! Styles! Malik! Horan! Richards! To the principals office. Now!” Ms Edwards yelled.

Now you show up? Seriously, where were you ten minutes ago?

Harry, Zayn and Chase walked off as we helped Niall up and went off towards the principal’s office.

We sat outside the office for five minutes until Mr Anderson came out and ushered us in.

“Mr Payne, Tomlinson. I’m surprised to see you two here.” He said. However, looking over at Harry and Zayn he didn’t look surprised.

“What happened this time?” He asked them.

“What do you mean? These fags tried to beat us up?” Zayn yelled.

“Mr Malik! I will not tolerate this kind of language in my office! Mr Payne, what happened for real?”

“Zayn, Harry and Chase were beating Niall up so Louis and I tried to stop them.”

“Well, is that true?” Mr Anderson asked looking at me. I just merely nodded while Zayn and Harry started protesting.

“Silence! If that is so why is Mr Richards also beat up and Mr Styles and Mr Malik have bruises?” He questioned.

“That’s because Liam and Louis tried to help me but they put up a fight.” Mr Anderson and the rest of us were surprised hearing Niall speaking.

“Alright, if that is the case, Mr Malik, Styles and Richards are suspended for two days while Mr Payne and Tomlinson have detention this afternoon.” He then dismissed us.

My mum is going to kill me. First day and I already got sent to the principal’s office and got detention.

“Ring!” Wow. I did not realize we were in there so long. I guess it’s time for detention.

Mr Chance came in to watch us for the hour and he went to the teacher’s table and started using his computer. I had nothing to since we were not given homework. My mind started to drift off to sleep.

SLAM!

Mr Chance looked down at me and told me detention was over and I was free to leave.

The walk home was uneventful and as I reached home I felt a lump in my throat as I saw an all too familiar blue pick up truck.

Once I opened the door I am greeted with a dreaded voice I was hoping not to hear.

“Louis!”
