Saving Liam

Harry's POV.

Louis drags me into the house.

"What about Liam?"

"Hold on babe." I sigh. He pulls me past a group of huddled goths in the kitchen. I gulp. My heart beat quickens as Louis pulls me into his room. "Hey calm down." He pulls me into a hug. I take a deep breath.

"Liam." He laughs a little.

"Yes love, I'm going right now."

"I still can't believe you." I sniffle.

"I know...I lost control....I'm really sorry. I was just in a bad mood."

"You didn't need to take it out on my best friend!"

"I know....I just couldn't think. I just did it. Then I realized what I did afterwards...and I feel really bad."

"You should." I huff, crossing my arms. He forces a smile. He puts his arm around me. I cringe.

"Go...Liam is suffering!" I sob. He kisses the top of my head.

"Right. Stay in here." He leaves in a flash. I worriedly sit on his bed. I really hope Liam is ok...

Louis' POV.

I walk out and see Liam is awake, and is looking around confused.

"Hey lad." I say wincing. I don't want to know how he is going to react. His eyes widen, and he jumps up, then falls down on the floor hard, rubbing his neck and head. I walk over to him and sit down next to him. He tries to back away, but I grab his arm.

"GET AWAY FROM ME YOU MONSTER!" He screams.

"Calm down." I say.

"NO YOU BIT ME!!!" His eyes are a flaring red and I see fangs starting to grow. Harry is going to freak! Now he'll never love me! :(

"It was by accident I swear!"

"YOU "PUNISHED ME" HOW IS THAT BY ACCIDENT??!!" I shake his shoulders. "DON'T TOUCH ME!!"

"Hey! I know you're mad and probably hungry, but you need to relax!" I try. He clenches his fists. "RELAX!" I scream. He doesn't reply. "Harry and Gemma are fine, ok? You will be too. Now, I know you're hungry, so I'm going to take you to find an animal. We'll save human blood for a different time." His eyes widen, and he shakes his head.

"I won't kill people and animals! I'm not a killer like you!" I look him dead in the eye.

"Do you want to die?" He sniffles, and I feel bad for him. I rub his arm and he doesn't pull away. "Look I'm really sorry about what I did. I lost control and I'm sorry. I really am. I'll help you get through this, ok? I promise. You don't have to drink blood, you can eat junk food and that helps a little bit. You WILL grow too weak though." He sighs. "Look, eventually you have to drink blood. Animal or human."

"N-No!"

"Liam, it's not that bad. If you want me to kill them, and then give you the blood, we could do that." He nods his head a bit.

"I guess." I smile.

"Good. Now let's go." I take his hand and drag him back to the house.

Harry's POV.

Louis comes in without Liam. I frown.

"Where is he?" I ask worriedly. He gulps and looks down. "OH NO DID HE DIE?!"

"No, no, of course not. He's just...." All of a sudden, I hear Gemma scream. "Liam NO!" Louis dashes out of the room. What's going on??!! I follow him.

"What's wrong??" I see Gemma pinned down by Liam. His eyes are red and he has fangs. My eyes widen. I slowly turn to Louis. He forces a smile.

"At least he's not dead...?" I shove Liam off of my poor sister, and she looks around.

"Liam? Is that a costume? Where am I?" I gulp.

"Gemma let's go, I don't think it's safe for us to be in here right now..."

"HARRY?!"

"Yes Gemma, it's me. Now lets go."

"Wait- where am I? Who are these people? What's wrong with Liam?"

"I'll explain later, now let's go."

"Fine." She gets up, and we head to Louis' room. Once we're inside, she puts her hands on her hips. "Explain." I take a deep breath.

"Ok. Well..the truth is..."

Dolly.

She presses a button on the side screen, and the doors open. Out march rows and rows of Nachzehrers. Each has the bright green eyes of a ghoul, and the fangs of a vampire. The red eyes were changed to green, because red would be too obvious. Dolly may be little, but when it comes to her games, nobody can out play her. She smiles to herself. She likes to think that she will win. Yes, she will.
