"Police open up" someone says pounding on the door
I pick Madison up and place her in the bathtub
"Don't. Speak" I demand
She starts shaking as I close the curtain
As I turn around the police come in
"Sorry sir. I was using the bathroom" I say nodding while walking out of the bathroom
"All clear" another officer says
"Tell me Mr.Caniff. Where's the girl" the officer asks
"She's at the hospital with her friends " I reply
"We got a call saying you took her. Where is she" he asks getting aggravated
"I don't have her" I say with a blank face
"Put him in cuffs" he says
I'm being put under arrest. Great.
I shake my head debating whether or not to protest
"HELP" I hear Madison scream
Police go running into the bathroom and she comes out
I look at her
She's shaking
Bruises everywhere and she's bleeding. This is all because of me.
I look down trying not to cry.
I wish I didn't agree to this.
As they start pulling me out I look at Madison and catch her eyes
"I'm so sorry" I say while looking down
I just lost the most amazing girl
