Part 1 - Opening

               It was nearly gone. Every soul, mind and heart destroyed, and abandoned. I stood closer to the edge so I could feel the danger rushing through my body. But my thoughts were as blank as snow. The slate coloured water beneath me looked like a continuous dark hole. I leaned forward, imagining myself hitting the freezing cold water. It was nothing but an enemy to me so I shut my eyes and let myself drop. The thrashing water hit me like concrete at that speed. 'A fast death' were the only words that were in my head.

                But then angry clouds suddenly started to appear in the distance of my blurry mind. I felt the weight of my body jerk back up from under the water I was certain I had a glimpse at his stormy eyes. I gasped for breath as I pounded out of the water. I was sure it was his face beyond the horizon. Voices in the wind whispered to me 'Not yet...not just yet...'. Could it be his voice that consistently urged me to move forward. Telling me to carry on. Reminding me what I had to do and why I was still here. The cold feeling from inside my body started to heat up and turn to rage. I would get where I had to be, whatever it took. Everything else had ended but something inside me wanted to survive. But I couldn't swim, the current was to strong. I've never been so scared, determined and furious at the same time. My body weakened by the second. So all I could do was let the current take me wherever it was heading. The voices still repeating the same words.
