Isha's P.O.V:

We reached in front of a lavish gate... And the car moved into a big bungalow... This place looks three times bigger than my house...

"Welcome home love..." He said...

"I cannot live happily with you Arjun..." I told him...

"That's my decision... I'm so much addicted to you... You are my world... No one can ever think of nearing you..." He said and opened the door...

He stepped out of the car and came to the other side...

"I had so many plans for you... You are coming inside this house with the wedding dress and performing rituals... But you decided to pull this stunt..." He said and carried me...

"Arjun... Let me go..." I shouted...

"Each word you say extends your punishment..." He said...

He made me stand before the entrance and there was a rice jar... We spoke about this back on our island...

Flashback — Before the Registered Marriage

The island was unusually calm that evening.
The waves moved slowly, as if they didn’t want to disturb us. The sand was still warm from the sun, and the sky was slowly fading into soft shades of violet and gold. We lay side by side on the beach, close enough for our shoulders to touch.

“This is too relaxing,” I said softly, staring at the sky.

He turned his head toward me, smiling in a way that made everything else disappear.

“Same,” he said. “I’ve never felt this relaxed in years.”

He leaned in and kissed my forehead—slow, gentle, unhurried. Not like someone claiming something. Like someone grateful.

I closed my eyes for a moment.

Then reality crept back in.

“I don’t know how to face Bhai,” I admitted quietly. “Will he ever accept you again?”
Arjun didn’t answer immediately. He shifted closer, his fingers lacing with mine.

“You’re mine, Isha,” he said with certainty, not arrogance.

“No one can come between us.”
I turned to look at him.

“Still… he changed so suddenly. One day he trusted you, the next day he was angry. I don’t understand what went wrong.”

He brushed his thumb over my knuckles.
“Sometimes people don’t change,” he said.

“They just see things differently.” I sighed and rested my head on his chest.
“Imagine,” I said dreamily, “if everything was simple.”

He chuckled.

“Define simple.” he asked...

“Our families together,” I continued, smiling to myself.

“Mom is crying happily. Dad pretending to be strict. Bhai acts like he doesn’t care—but is caring the most.” I told in excitement...

He listened quietly.

“And then,” I went on, my voice was soft with excitement,
“we get married properly… with all the rituals.”

I hugged him tightly.

“I enter your house as your wife,” I said, eyes shining,
“kick the rice jar at the doorstep… everyone is smiling… welcoming me.” I said imagine that situation.

He wrapped his arms around me.
“All the rituals,” he repeated thoughtfully.
“Yes,” I nodded against his chest.

“Everything feels so special when I imagine it like that.” I told cheerfully...
