In the secret cave at last all raytraxians arrived. The numbers of them were significantly smaller than before which Bloom noticed immediatly. Orian stood by her side, altough his face didn't show any emotions, the ghost fox could tell that he was also unnerved at the sight.
"Well then, Bloom. Do you want me to talk about our... Discovery... Or would you prefer to do it yourself?" Orian suddenly asked. Bloom looked up at him yet the hazzy didn't return the glance.
"...I can do it myself." She muttered after a while of thinking. The raytraxians listening on were both curious and nervous, not knowing what's the reason for a meeting. Yes, thier numbers were going down but everyone already known that.
Bloom sighed, she was not yet ready. But she had to speak up now.
"Welcome to the second meeting since the arrival." She begun, greeting the gathered raytraxians "...as you know the humans are not yet planning on stopping thier attack... While i admit, it's a great idea to fight back... It's even what i think it's required right now... Please, quit fighting among your own. We cannot afford such losses." At her words Orian took out the knife which they discovered at Chain's body. It seems the hazzy picked it up while calling the meeting.
"Altough our suspicion is based on barely any proof and a bit of delusion, Bloom's point still stands. Kill humans, not each other." Orian added, raising the blade in the air for all to see. It didn't really cause a huge reaction out of raytraxians.
"Of course it's based on delusions..." Someone in the crowd muttered loud enough so the raytraxians could hear. No one really paid attention which seemed to annoy the raytraxian but didn't make whoever that was stop.
"I mean... What else to expect from the powerful goverment made of exactly two raytraxians." The raytraxian stepped forward shocking everyone in the room as the speaker was a certain red slimepup, Rose.
"I truly don't mean to be disrespectful yet I can't help but notice that our leader is... Let's just say less than perfect." Rose looked directly into Bloom's eye. The ghost fox didn't respond both because of confuision and because it was the truth "All she does is stay in that garden of hers and let's us die! Now, her boyfriend, who does all her job, is a way better fit. Altough I wonder why he didn't take over yet... Perhaps he's afraid to take all that responsibility on himself? Or simply lacks care in what happens to us as it's clear all he's been doing is basking in power and doing Bloom's tasks like a servant!" The slimepup spat. It seemed that Orian took the words personally, his grip on the knife tigher than before.
"Now, i'm going to get to the point... Screw the leaders! Both of them preaching on how we must survive yet not doing anything else!" Rose concluded
Orian pointed the knife in the direction, Bloom upon noticing that took it from the hazzy.
"Hypocrites..." Rose muttered before retreating back into the crowd. The raytraxians started whispering among themselves. As much as weird that was, the slimepup did have a point... Great... They noticed it just when Bloom started trying to improve... Orian tried not to blow up on them on spot, wishing he had a table he could slam both his paws against.
"Silence! The meeting is concluded!" He instead shouted trying not to be too loud in case humans were nearby. The raytraxians started leaving the cave, only Orian, Bloom, Glacier, Rosie and Pseudo remaining.
Bloom sighed heavily burrying her face in her paws.
"Bloom... What the fuck was that." Pseudo spoke up to which Rosie shoved her slightly. Pseudo shoved her sister even harder for that.
"I have no idea..." Bloom muttered, sounding tired.
"That pup was... Strangely political... Well, it doesn't matter. I'm sure the rays won't try anything. A coupe during this time is just plain stupid." Glacier attempted to reassure her.
"I hope so." Orian responded, not attempting to hide how annoyed he was. "Well then, enough of talk. I'm going to prove that slimepup wrong." And with that the hazzy left the cave.
