~Friday~

Caleb's POV

We were standing backstage waiting for  the performance to end. We were the last to preform in this 'Talent show' put on by the school.

I gripped the microphone tightly in my sweaty palm. I signed switching hands and wiping it on my pink skater shirt. I looked over at Jodie. She was just as nervous as I was. I pursed my lips as I heard applause. I squeezed my eyes shut as they announced us. We got in our places and waited for the curtain to lift.

The music started. We glanced at each other as the curtain went up.

"Momma told me not to waste me life she said spread your wings my little butterflies don't let what they say keep you up at night and if they give you sh... Than they can walk on by" we sang together pressing our fingers to our lips at the 'sh' part.

We sang the song whilst dancing around. We finished, panting and looking out into the crowd. I saw some formally dressed men in the back row who seemed to be watching our every move.

We walked off the stage and wiped our faced with towels.

"That was amazing." I heard someone saybehind us. We both turned around to see the studio directors. I smiled and held out me hand. They both gladly shook it and then did the same to Jodie.

"We've come to the conclusion that we want you." One of them said. He was short and had thick glasses. He was probably in his late 30's. Then other one was a lot taller and he said contacts. They both had dark brown hair.

"Yes we do you are amazing and have such energy on stage and you aren't even well known yet." They tall one said excitedly. We nodded.

"I'm Dan and this is Joey" the short one said pointing to himself and the other man.

We both nodded. They gave us an address. We had to meet them later to sign contracts. They told us they'd bring along one of there groups.

We went to the bathrooms and change into shorts and graphic tees.

I sighed a happy sigh as I sat in the drivers seat. My mom had arrived a couple days ago. She brought my car and the rest of our stuff.

Jodie sat in the seat beside me and I started the car. We pulled into the parking of a cute little café.

"Are you sure this is the right place?" Jodie asked slipping out of the car. I shut my door.

"Yeah this is 552 Mulburry Lane." I shrugged walking towards the shop.

We went in and I immediately saw four of my idols.

"Holy shit." I whispered.

"What's?" Jodie said looking down at her phone.

"Remember when Dan said he'd being one of his groups." I asked quietly. We were in the line.

She nodded still looking down at her phone.

"Well look." She lifted her head and followed my finger. The boys were looking at us. Michael narrowed his eyes and looked at Ashton.

"Is that them?" He whispered to him. He pointed at us. We were at the front of the like.

"Hi! Can I have a strawberry mocha please." I said in a octave higher then usual.

"Sure." The nice girl said. She was probably year older then me.

I handed her the money an she handed me my drink.

"I really like your nails by the way." She smile.

"Thank you so much that made my day" I smiled holding my hand over my heart. She smiled at me one last time and I waited at the back of the line for Jodie.

"I'm hoping your the girl we are waiting for." I heard an Australian accent beside me.

"I doubt it." I said turning to see Calum Hood standing beside me.

"No no I think you are." He insisted.

"Caleb do you know when Dan and Joey are supposed to be here." Jodie said walking over her nose in her phone once again. I rolled my eyes.

"No I have no clue. Why are like so interested in your phone." I asked sipping my drink. Calum hadn't moved away from my side yet.

"Johnson told me Sammy is being a fuck boy again." She said looking up at me with sad eyes.

"Do you want to come sit with us." Calum slipped I'm pointing at their table.

I smiled and nodded. I pulled Jodie with us and sat her down beside Michael. I sat between Jodie and Ashton.

Jodie turned her whole body towards me.

"Apparently there's this new girl names Mia at home she just transferred and Sam as already slept with her." She said ready from a text. I pursed my lips. And slowly nodded.

"Okay enough to with that you are going to socialize." I said taking Jodie's phone away.

"With who?" She said looking up from her recently vacant hands. Her eyes widened.

"How the fuck did you get them to let us sit with them!?" She whisper yelled. They all laughed.

"Actually Calum asked if we'd like to sit with him." I said smirking.

"Luke stop starring it's getting creepy." Michael said.

"You know your really pretty." Luke said testing he's head on his hands and ignoring Michael.

"So are you." I said copying his pose.

He grinned raising his eyebrows. I shrugged.

I heard the bell chime when you open the door. I turned my head and saw Dam and Joey entering the café searching for us.

I got up and pulled Jodie with me.

"Dan! Joey! Haven't seen you in so long." I said sarcastically.

"I see you met the boys." Joey said gesturing to the boys a couple feet away.

"We need you to sign these contracts." Dan said in a more serious note. He both nodded and sat at the table beside 5SOS.

We quickly read threw the papers and signed.

"Congratulations you are now apart of Hi or Hey records! Your manager will be in contact soon. Her name is Kelly." He said shaking our hands.

We sat back down with the guys and talked about nothing.

We stayed for about an hour the we decided to leave.

"So yeah text me some time." Luke said nervously scratching the back of his neck. I giggled. 

"Okay Lukey." I went on my tip toes and kissed his cheek. He blushed a deep red and left with the other guys.

I went up the counter. I found the girl who waited on me a while ago.

"Hi, I'm you compliments my nails earlier and I was wondering if you wanted to come over tonight and have a sleep over." I said.

"Really?" She said smiling widely.

"Yeah totally." I said resting my arm on the counter.

She nodded and we exchanged numbers.

"I'll see you later tonight." I said opening the door.

"See you later." She waved.
