Chapter 1

Luhan's

I'm at the airport, hugging my mom and dad, bidding our goodbyes to each other, preparing myself because I'm moving out from China to South Korea. My parents want me to pursue my college life with Psychology.

"I want you to stay safe honey." My mom as she hugs me while crying. I hugged her back and pat his back. "Mom, don't worry I'll be safe." I assured her, pulled back from the hug and smiled at her.

"Goodluck, Xiao Lu. Focus on your study my big boy." My daddy said and smiled at me. I smiled back as he patted my head.

"I think I need to go, or else the plane will leave without me." I jokingly said and hugged my parents goodbye. I started to make my way to the departure area and looked at my parents back one more time.

'I will miss you, Mom and Dad. See you soon China.'

I went inside the plane and let the stewardess to help me with my backpack, she put it inside the cabin and I sit beside the plane window.

"Juice or coffee?" The stewardess asked me while holding a pitcher of coffee or pitcher of juice. I just shooked my head and put my headphones.

The next thing I know I was drifting off to sleep..

"Welcome to South Korea! Fly with us again, this is your pilot speaking. Have a good day."

I hoped off the chair and let the stewardess assist me with the cabin. I got my backpack and smiled at her. I got out of the plane and waited for my luggage.

I saw a black and red luggage and I took it. I walked into the immigration and he asked me some questions like 'what is my purpose here in South Korea?' And such. Once I passed the immigration counter I kinda get a little bit hungry.

I was walking when suddenly a Korean guy bumped into me. I faced him and he started to bow and apologizing. I know how to speak in Korean, when I was in senior high we were required to learn other language not only English and Chinese. And luckily, I took the language I would use in this place which is korean.

"It's fine. Are you hurt?" I asked him. I held his hand to help him stand up. At our contact I can feel that his hands are pretty cold. He shooked his head and stood up.

"Sorry I was in a hurry, by the way, I'm Baekhyun what's your name?" He asked cutely. I smiled at him and told him my name. We had like a little chat, asking me why am I here. If I'm Korean or not and such.

"Oh! I forgot! I really need to go! See you when I see you?" He said and he shaked hands. I went out of the airport and look for a cab and luckily I found one without any difficulty.

I gave the address to the cab driver and he just nodded. I felt a little jetlag so I just took a nap and the next thing I know I'm at the apartment that I need to pay monthly.

We're not really rich, I need to work for myself, I approached the landlady and he gave me the key to my apartment room. The room is not really small, it has a little flat screen TV, a little kitchen with a stove and a pretty small refrigerator, a closet and a bed that I would fit perfectly. I arranged my things put my clothes in the closet, grabbed a history book about the school I will going to. and started to relax a bit, when I'm done relaxing and reading I went outside to find a job.

I walked and walked until I found a small coffee shop, with a sign that reads.

Help wanted! Barista and waiter. Inquire inside.

I went inside and started to inquire, and I successfully got the job. And since, my shift is graveyard shift I'm lucky, because I don't need to arrange my school schedule if ever there would be any conflict.

I went outside the coffee shop and went to a little grocery. I got some things that I would need inside my apartment room like restroom tissues, toothpastes, Listerine and things I would need in the bathroom. I went to the food section and took a dozen of egg, cereal, a box of milk, some vegetables, a whole chicken, and 1 kilo beef.

I made my way to the cashier and paid my items.. I saw a bubbletea shop then grab a taro flavored bubble tea.

"One chocolate flavored bubble tea please." I heard a monotone voice behind me. I looked behind me and saw a tall guy with sharp jawline. I just shrugged it off Then went home.

I put the food inside the fridge and put the box of cereal in the cabinet above the stove. And since I'm not hungry, I skipped dinner and went to the bathroom
I turned the shower on and took a quick shower, and brushed my teeth. And then changed into my Pj's. I took my cellphone and started playing Temple run a bit.

Suddenly, the sleepiness got into me. I prayed then closed my eyes, then I shut my system for the night.
