I woke up to my fuzzy room, comforting me whenever I felt sad. I walked to the kitchen and stared mesmerized on how we managed to buy such a beautiful home. Kate had decided to make pancakes and eggs, and some sides (bacon, salad, etc.). I sat down and ate alone, knowing my boyfriend was at work being CEO, and my friend Kate was tending to her cupcake shop. Whenever I was lonely, I went to a nearby mirror and talked to Jackson. "You can make it so only you can see me, but in a 3-D form... " He said grinning at me like the Chesire Cat. Maybe it was worth a shot, I mean, he was my crush in first through eleventh grade. I nodded. "Well, I know it sounds cheesy, but you need to align with me, so put your body in my body, ya know?" He said, standing still. "Wow, still a pervert after all these years." I said, smiling at him through the mirror.
"The one and only." He said. Before I knew it, I had a flash of light in my eyes, I tried to look around me but saw no change in the environment. After a while, I had noticed that I could probably walk around, and so I did. The next thing I know, I'm moving back to a wall with somebody chasing me with a knife, I couldn't control it either. I tried to yell and get help, but I just can't yell. I got stabbed and the next thing I know, Jackson is in front of me waving his hand in my face.
"It worked," I said, still in a daze.
"Of course it did, but we have no time for dilly-dallying," Jackson said as he stormed off to my boyfriend's room.
"Where are you going?" I yelled. I decided to follow him. He pointed towards his closet. I opened it and saw the stairs.
"Uh, how the hell did I not know about this?" I said scared of what was down there.
"Just, don't scream when you are down there, and make sure to stay strong when you see what's going on." Jackson whispered.
