Percy's POV
I was just coming back from my quest for Athena to get her permission to marry Annabeth.I had a ring that was sea green with an owl and a trident on it. When I got back I went to the Athena cabin.I knocked on the door and mark opened it.I asked where annabeth was and he said "at the beach" rudely and slammed the door but I just shrugged it of.I ignored all of the dirty looks I was getting.I got to the beach and saw two people kissing, then I realized that it was annabeth and Matt .I heard Matt say "when are you going to break up with my loser half brother" "at the campfire Tonight" annabeth said. I just stared at her in shock then said" annabeth how could you",and through the ring at her she said percy it's not what it looks like but I was already at my cabin.I was thinking about what I was going to do when I had a flashback.
Flash back

I was training at the arena when I heard a scream.I ran to the hill and seen a kid about 16-17 trying to fight 3 hellhounds with a kitchen knife.I pulled out riptide and ran to help.When I got there I charged at the biggest one.I killed it with a swipe to the face,then I charged the other two.
After I killed them I ran to the boy who was hiding behind a tree.I asked him his name and instead of answering he pushed me down and it took me by surprise and he took that chance to grab riptide out of my hand just as the campers and Chiron got here.He said "I killed three hellhounds and that kid just hid behind the tree".Every day the campers threw everything they could find at me.Then the new kid who's name was Matt was telling people lies about how I started the wars and I was wrecking all of there personnel stuff.My only friends I had left were Annabeth,Grover,Nico, and Thalia.But then Grover started saying I broke his reed pipes and set junipers tree on fire.

Still percy pov

So ever since the day Annabeth cheated on me I've actually been believing the lies the campers have been saying.I've been cutting myself all the time until I got enough.I was walking to the Empire State Building thinking about my choice.I thought to myself "it couldn't be so bad I've already lost everything,my mom and stepdad got killed by a large hellhound and Thalia is always with the hunt and Nico is always helping his dad in the underworld so I've got nothing to lose".When I got to the lobby I asked for the key card to the 600th floor.The person there said "sorry kid thee is no 600 floor so go home.Then I said "give me the key card or I will stab you with my sword".He decided not to piss me off and gave me the card.When I got up to Olympus I walked to the throne room and opened the doors.All the gods were here,I bowed to Zues then to my father.Then Zues asked why are you here and I said"I wish to die.
