Jay and Miguel greeted me with flashing smile and our goofy ass daps we came up with when we where a little younger.
"Wassup man? How's its been?" Jay excitedly spoke while Miguel just smile at me.
"Uhhh great . what about y'all?" I seated myself.
"Cool and dandy, got back on Talia good side"
"How you manage to do that?"
"Gave her that D now she up cooking me breakfast in the morning and dinner at night. Even Cleaning up my house and shit."
I laughed
"Why haven't y'all moved in together yet?" I said
"Uuhhhh not sure if I'm ready to take it to that level yet. I don't even think she is ready.... She hasn't even ask me yet"
"Well....y'all should" Miguel said.
It got silent for a while till jay and Miguel look over at me and I snap my heads at them
"What?" I said basically shouting a little
"Why you so zone out?" Jay say
"Shid....I don't know...."
"What's really going on nigga?"
Jay was always the one that had to get the truth out of everything
"Man nun"
Jay gave me that head tilt with the tightly pinch lips look.
"Fine....naya pregnant"
Miguel and jay looked at each other then back at me.
"Well congratulations daddy" they both said and then chuckled . I laughed.
"Why u not so excited tho?" Miguel said while glancing at me.
"I don't think I'm ready to be a father yet....I'm still a kid inside myself shid."
"Well did you tell her that?"
"No I didn't jay....I made her seem like I was happy about it "
"See you not putting your true feeling out there" miguel said and jay gave him the look as in "nigga really"
" anywhooo let's change the subject."
"Did u invite santo?" Miguel said
"Yeah but he never replied to my message"
"He hasn't been answering my calls or text...I don't know why tho. Hope he ok."
"Yeah me too" I said adjusting my self in my chair
"Shidd I haven't even tried to call the nigga....but fuck! let's order some drinks. The fuck is the point going to the bar and not drinking." Miguel shouted
"Look like u already had enough to drink"
I look at jay and dap him for that one.
We order our drinks and enjoyed the rest of our night.
