Today I decided to meet up with the guys at the bar for some drinks and catching up to do. I added them into a group text message and sent the following
"Hey,wassup.....haven't seen y'all in a while. Let's meet at Candy bar tonight at 8. Y'all down?"
Moments later They replied and said they was with it. I put my phone down and headed in the bathroom and thats when I seen my girlfriend naya sitting on the rim of the tub.
"What's wrong?"
She sigh nervously
"I-i went to the doctor today and I found out I'm pregnant. here's the pregnancy test I took 3 days ago too"
My eyes widen as she stuck her arm out to me handing me the test. I'm gonna have a son or daughter.....wow.. I don't even know what to say.
I grab the test and stared at it for a minute..... Is this really happening.
"Are you even excited kirk?"
"Uhhhh- I mean yeah... S--.....uhhh." (Places his hand on the back of his head)
" "Uhhh" what? Its a simple question kirk. Yes or no?"
I went silent
"See I knew this was a mistake. I shouldn't of never told u and just went to get a abortion"
She went to walk out the bathroom but I grab her arm pulling her back.
"Look baby....I love you and our child (places his hand on her stomach) I'm glad you told me and I'm glad we're having a baby."
"You're lying kirk"
" no I'm dead ass serious baby (gets on his knees and kisses her stomach)"
"....I guess."
She kissed my forehead and walk out the bathroom. I got up and brushed my knees off. "Wheww" I said to myself and sign exhaustedly and check my phone noticing it was close to 8 so I grab my car keys getting ready to head out to the bar.
At the bar
J.Cole POV
I walk into the bar to instantly see my homie Miguel sitting there with his head down and his left arm covering his face and the other arm with a beer in the hand. My nigga then already got his drink on. I walk to the table pulling the chair out causing it to make a scratching noise on the floor making his head snap up. He stuck his hand out for a dab and I gave him one as I sitted my self in my seat .
"Yoooo wassup? How you been?" My raspy voice spoke out
"Mannnn....I've been ight (flashes a fake smile)
"Your face and voice tell me other wise....now what's really going on?"
He sitted up in his chair folding his arms on the table. His eyes look droopy and his pupils got bigger showing a cold black with a sparkle in the middle. He look like he wanted to break down.
"Sonnn....( his raspy voice struggles to spit out) i-i don't know man. Its like this new me doesn't suit me....I try everyday to not live with out this girl but she runs fucking laps through my head 24/7. I can't stop thinking about her.... But....I don't want to think about her though. "
He turn his head towards me giving me that look as if do I understand..... And I did. I let him continue to speak.
" Jay i been fucking random bitches trying to get her out my system but it only seems to make stuff worst..... I don't know what to do"
"Call her" I muffle out
"Hell no! Fuck that stupid bitch. She should be wanting to call me! She did me wrong! I should run rent free through her head....she should be missing me....but instead I'm stressing while she don't give a fuck and probably out there fucking other niggas. "
His eye started to swell and finally a tear came out. Just a couple tears and a few words about how you feel can let out alot of pain.
"Man call her. That what you really want to do. You want her back in your life but your mind is fighting the idea causing your heart to break."
"You're probably right" (sniffles)
"I am right"
"Don't tell kirk about this convo. You know how he is..."Mr. Perfect relationship"." (He put air quotations around Mr.perfect relationship)
I chuckled making him chuckle.
"I got you bro."
Soon kirko came in greeting us with a slight smile. Usually he all Mr. Big grins. I wonder what's up.
Santo POV
I got the text extra late from my homie kirk asking did he want to meet up. I already knew everybody was gonna be there including Jay....and how can you be by a nigga that got the girl u want....a nigga Thats yo homie from back then. He has been hitting my phone up but I've been ignoring his text and calls. Cause I'm invidious of the fact he got something I want.
