20.
PERCY'S POV.

I knew something was wrong the second I walked into the room. The way the guys went quiet—too quiet it sent a cold, sharp feeling sliding down my spine. They stared at me like I'd walked in on a secret. And I had. I just didn't know it yet. Anyways I had more troubling news to even bother with whatever new schemes they were cooking. My mind was all over the place. I was still too stunned to even start wrapping my head around what I was sent this morning, too flushed I must've looked like a ghost.

"Yo, Percy,"

Marcus said, smirking as he nudged the phone in his hand behind his back.

"Rough night?"

I frowned.

"What?"

Lucky exchanged a look with him—one of those looks that says don't say anything yet. My stomach twisted.

That's when Sam laughed, loud and nasty.

"Bro, don't act like we don't know what you've been doing. Bad boy"

"What the hell are you talking about?"

He lifted his phone. And pressed play.My heart stopped. My vision blurred. My ears rang. Something in me snapped and my blood turned to ice. Suddenly it was making sense. That anonymous number wasn't anonymous after all. It was them, the forfeit!

He shrugged. "Relax. It was just a joke."

"A joke?"

I stepped forward, my fists shaking.

" That's violation dude what the hell ! What'd you do that for !"

Sam's smirk faded. "It's not a big deal. Nobody saw it but us."

"That's supposed to make it better? What is wrong with all of you? This is not funny. You need to get rid of it, now and I'm not playing."

Marcus stepped forward, an annoyed look on his face

"A rule is a rule Percy. You never spared anyone so why should we spare you? You failed to deliver and you need to face the consequences. Let's talk about how you lied to our faces. You said nothing happened. What is this huh?"

He held his phone up to his face, referring to the content he was still playing. This was sick ! I was sick to my stomach and I couldn't believe they didn't see anything wrong with what they had done, what they were doing right then. How have I been friends with these people for years?

"It was suppose to be my punishment. It has got nothing to do with her. You said you wouldn't touch her. This is not fair!"

I was fuming. I couldn't even stay still. I knew they played too much, that they came up with the most mischievous schemes but even this was below the belt. She would break if she ever found out. This would destroy her forever. God what have I done.

"Oh but all is fair in love and war."

Sam grinned and I saw red. I lunged before I even made the decision. My body moved on its own.Marcus grabbed my arm, trying to hold me back, but I elbowed him in the jaw. I slammed Sam into the wall, his phone skittering across the floor.

"You sick....disgusting..animal..!!"

I punched him hard, knuckles exploding with pain. He hit back, fist cracking against my jaw, and suddenly the room spun into chaos.

Lucky jumped in next, grabbing me from behind. I threw him over my shoulder and he hit the floor with a thud. Marcus swung at me, and I ducked, tackling him into the coffee table. It shattered beneath us.Someone screamed, another yelled for help and threatened to call security.I didn't care. I couldn't see anything except red.
