Hidden (A Nathan Sykes fanfic)

Chapter Six

I knew I needed to to pull away but I couldn't, it felt too right. 

WHO AM I KIDDING? This bastard has been my bully for years! 

I pushed him away with my hands and immediately jumped away from him. 

"What are you doing?!" I shouted at him. He also jumped up.

"What do you think?" he replied.

"YOU WERE FUCKING KISSING ME AND WE HATE EACH OTHER!" I screamed.   

He didn't respond. 

"AND what about your mystery girl?" I bit my lip after I said this. 

I watched him as he looked at me, "I know who she is." 

I froze for a second. I then relaxed because he would probably think it was one of the sluts in school. 

"Who is it?" I asked.

"You." he answered and took a step closer to me. 

This was all happening too fast. 

"How do you know it was me? I didn't even go to the ball!" I protested. 

He smirked and his hand slowly made it's way up to my face. He gently stroked my cheek. An unwanted shiver ran across my body. He snaked his arms around my waist and pulled me right up against him.

He put his lips by my ear and whispered, "Your eyes babe. Your eyes." 

I closed my eyes as he planted little kisses below my ear.  

I knew this was wrong. So wrong. 

"Nathan." I gasped and pushed him away. 

"Elodie, I need you!" he groaned. 

"I don't want to be used for your sexual needs Nathan! Just leave." 

"No Elodie I don't mean in that way. I need you to be with me!" he said. His words took me by surprise. 

"NATHAN! C'mon! WE DON'T EVEN KNOW EACH OTHER! WE'RE NOT EVEN AN ITEM! IT WAS JUST ONE NIGHT!" I shouted. 

"Elodi-" he was about to say something but I cut him off. 

"No Nathan!" I sighed and rubbed my forehead. 

Suddenly there was a huge noise outside, it sounded like thunder. SHIT. Thunder scared me so much. Soon enough there was a flash of lightning and you could soon hear the heavy rain. 

Suddenly everything went dark. I heard Nathan gasp. 

"Shit." I breathed, "A power cut." 

"Elodie where are you? I can't see a thing!" Nathan said. 

"Me neither Nathan!" I replied. I searched around for him and suddenly my head hit something hard but soft. 

"Is that you Elodie?" Nathan whispered. 

"Yeah," I replied and rubbed my head to stop the throbbing pain. 

"You just bumped into my abs!" he laughed and I let out a shaky giggle. 

"Are you okay babe?" Nathan asked wrapping his arms around my petite frame. 

"Yeah I just kinda hate thunder." I replied and buried my head into his chest. 

"It's okay El... shhhh." he soothed. I whimpered. 

He then began to softly sing. His voice was beautiful. 

"A drop in the ocean, a change in the weather, I was preying that you and me might end up together, it's like wishing for rain as I stand in the desert, but I'm holding you closer than most, 'cause you are my heaven." his voice was like paradise.
