Chapter thirty four
"They're...white..." Yuki looked at the birds fluttering around Neah in astonishment.
"White?" Neah repeated, raising an eyebrow. "That's impossible..."
"It's true," Scheherazade spoke, stepping forward.
"Have you ever seen someone fall out of depravity before, Scheherazade?" Yunan asked the female magi, a hint of amusement in his voice.
"No, never." The magi shook her head.
"Me neither," Yunan looked back at Neah, amazed.
The black haired magi felt strange with everyone staring at her. "H-Hey, what does it matter? They're just birds..." She wanted to wrap her arms around herself, but that wasn't possible in their condition. "Shouldn't we go... I don't know... Help everyone get patched up? Something...?"
"Neah, this is amazing!" Yuki smiled widely, placing his hands on her shoulders. "No one's ever fallen out of depravity like this before! How do you feel?"
"I'm fine." Neah was quiet for a moment. "I feel...better... Happy."
If Yuki's smile could grow any more, it surely would have. He pulled Neah into a hug, once again careful to not harm her arms, "I'm proud of you."
Neah blushed and looked away when they parted. Pouting, she asked, "Can we go check on everyone else already?"

It took several days to treat everyone and to clean up some from the battles. Luckily, there were plenty of magicians to heal everyone who needed it. Neah seemed to have the worst wounds of everyone. Nearly three months later, Neah's hands had dark scars covering her palms and the underside of her fingers, as well as most of her forearm.
There were very minimal casualties during the war, besides the MWS soldiers of course. The last Elites, Alok and Mellor, had been executed in front of everyone from their time period and the Old Days. The MWS buildings in the other districts didn't put up much of a fight. Once they heard that the main building was down, they knew it was over.
The citizens of all the districts were stunned -to say the least- that all of the magicians, Fanalis, and Imuchakk were free. Most of them had grown up in an anti-magic community, but they were slowly getting used to the new conditions. The majority of normal citizens felt horrible for what MWS had done without them knowing, and tried as hard as they could to make up for it.
Everyone from the Old Days stuck around for roughly a month after the war. They helped with cleanup, but there was no need for them to stay in the future for any longer. Using both Ren Koumei's metal vessel, and Dantalion from the present, they were able to create a properly functioning portal back to the Old Days. It was great, but Neah was a bit sad she had to part with everyone.
Neah had been crying again, as she thanked everyone, "There's no way I could repay all of you for this... Thank you..."
"Are you going to come back with us?" Sinbad had asked, standing beside Kouen and a few other leaders, Dantalion's portal several yards behind them.
Neah chuckled, "I think I fucked up the past enough already. I need to stay here and fix Rakuen." She had plans on bringing back the dungeons, and creating new leaders for all of the districts. Neah smiled at Sinbad, "I think I'm actually going to miss you."
Sinbad smiled, "Me too."
"Wait a moment, Neah," Kouen stepped forward. "You made a deal with me. You're still going to hold up your end, aren't you?"
Neah froze.
"Neah, you made a deal to get power?!" Yuki exclaimed from beside her.
Neah raised her -at the time- bandaged hands, "I didn't do anything, really! I just said I'd tell him about the Old Days!"
"You what?!"
"L-Look, Kouen, why don't you talk with Adna?" Neah picked up the light teen and practically handed her to the prince. "She's related to Aladdin, so you know she's really smart. I'm sure she can tell you everything you need to know!"
"Woah, what?! Are you giving me to him?!" Adna squirmed in Neah's arms.
Kouen looked Adna over before nodding, "Alright." He grabbed Adna and held her like she was light as a feather.
"Neah, you can't just give our friends away!" Yuki panicked. He looked to Kouen, "Please, Prince Kouen, you can't take her with you... It would destroy time!"
"Like Neah hasn't done that already!" Kouha said, poking Adna's puffed out cheeks.
Neah quietly began backing away, attempting to blend in with the other magicians around her. "Hey, Ne, wait! You need to talk to Prince Kouen!" Yuki began chasing after the other magi, who started running at the call of her name. "Neah!!!"
