Anyone thinking of playing this terrifying game I am going to give you one warning, Mario Kart ruins friendships.
While looking through my DS games one day I noticed a game I hadn't played in a while, Mario Kart. I decided to play because I remember I was actually pretty good at the game.
After I played for a while I got bored and decided to ask two of my friends, BriMicky101, and LLimes to play with me.
Bad decision.
It was fun the first few rounds but after a while we started to get very aggressive and competitive. Screaming when people passed us and also yelling profanities when we were hit with turtle shells, especially the blue ones.
I was always the one in third place or below so I got aggravated very quickly and tried everything I could to beat them. The one time I did beat them we got into a big argument over who was better and then we decided to stop playing for a while.
After the argument we wouldn't talk to each other for almost an hour because of how angry that game made us.
Don't get me wrong, Mario Kart is a very fun game but I'm warning you, don't play it with your friends or your friendships are going to be ruined.
This game is also very addictive. Everyday for the past week we have been playing almost none stop. I'm still the worst out of the three of us but that's not going to stop me from beating them every once and a while.
I love Mario Kart but seriously if you want to play with friends don't. It will ruin your friendships.
If you decide to play alone good choice but that still won't stop you from almost murdering the next person you see because you lost.
Imagine this. You are second place with Toad in first. You get angry because Toad of all people is in first and beating you so you do everything you can to get in first place. While nearing the finish line on the final lap you finally pass Toad and you scream out in joy but then you hear the very familiar sound of the devil...
"Beep! Beep! Beep!"
You look down at your screen just in time to see a blue turtle shell hit your character and Toad pass you just before you cross the finish line.
Beware my friends because no matter how or who you play this game with it will slowly ruin your life by forcing you to spend hours a day racing computers and every time they still beat you. When you decide to quit the game your life has already been ruined. There is no way to return to the same person you were before you played Mario Kart.
