Chapter 35

Hailee's POV

I woke up and realized I was only asleep for about an hour. I opened my eyes and saw Sierra stand up. She was looking out the door. I wonder what she's looking at.

"Sierra?" I said
"Ah!" She screamed
"Sorry" I said
"What's going on?" Ricky said half asleep
"I thought I saw a-a p-person outside" Sierra stuttered
"Dafuq is going on?!" Jc said rubbing his eyes
"I'll tell you all in the morning" Sierra said
"Okay" he said

We all went back to sleep.

--That Morning at Breakfast--

"Sooo, what was it that you were talking about last night?" Jc asked Sierra
"Wait! What?!" Kian asked
"I couldn't fall asleep last night and then as soon as I saw lightning I saw a f-figure of a p-person" she said
"WHAT!!?!!" Dad yelled
"Y-ya"
"Well we have to be careful, just tell us if anything happens" dad said
"Okay"

We finished breakfast and I was walking upstairs I I heard my phone beep indicating I had a notification. It was from snapchat it said,

Snapchat from: yournightmare

I opened it and it was a black screen that was a voice that was changed, they said,

Looks like you figured out who I was. Nice seeing you last night! Not! But be careful I know what you're up to.. if you tell anyone it'll be the last thing you say to them!!

"W-what?!" I said quietly
"What's wrong?" Sierra asked
"N-nothing" I said
"I know you as good as you know yourself! Tell me what's wrong"
"I-I can't tell you!!" I said running into the bathroom, locking it behind me
"HAILEE!!" Sierra yelled pounding on the door
"W-what!!" I yelled
"Tell me now or I will knock it down!!"
"F-fine" I said opening the door
"What's going on?" She asked

I tried to talk but I just couldn't breathe. Here we go again. Another panic attack. It lasted for what felt like hours, Sierra calmed me down but I couldn't hear what she was saying.

"So are you able to tell me what happened" she asked
"Uh... uh... I- I got a snapchat" I started
"Annnnnnnnd?"
"Annnd... it said that I can't tell anyone or else I won't see that person again" I said and I started to cry
"WHAT!" She yelled with fear and anger in her eyes
"It's okay, I'm just going to live life and try not to worry about this" I said

Just then Trevor walked in.

"What's going on?" He asked
"N-nothing" I said
"It's just a long story" Sierra told him

--Later that night--

"Can I borrow you for a bit?" Trevor asked
"Sure" I said getting up
"Why don't we go out on the roof and just sit there?" He said
"Okay"

I went and grabbed a few blankets and got a bag of candy and went to his room where he was sitting on his bed.

"Let's go" I said

We went out and set everything up and we watched the sunset. It was beautiful.

"Hailee," Trevor said and I turned to him
"I-I love you" he said
"I love you too"

And then our lips melted together.

Then I heard someone yell.

"TREVOR!!"

It was Sam

I remembered at that moment that only Dad, Sierra knew Trevor and I were together. Sam wasn't in the room when we said that.
