Okay, well, um, hi. I'm new to this genre of ugly to pretty girls and I'm liking the story idea, so I'm going to try. LET'S DO THIS!!!
Presenting... I Couldn't Be Ugly Forever.
Preface, or whatever you call it. Prologue? Oh, I don't care! On with the story, da?
"CRAP!" I screamed mentally as I walked into the school building. I hate the glares I got from people. Do I look like Frankenstein? No! I'm just a teenage girl who happens to not spend hours on her appearance daily! Just because I don't give a hoot about my clothes or my looks and whatever doesn't mean I'm hideous! Just not pretty in the typic high-school sense. Screw these folks, I'm going to class.
I get it. I'm not that stunning girl like in the movies. I'm no Emma Stone. Sure, if I tried I could look awesome, I won't lie, but I just couldn't care less. My golden honey blonde caramel whatever hair that hung in my face could be gorgeous if I controlled it, and my bright grey-green eyes could be worth millions if I accented them with mascara and eyeliner. But I. DON'T. CARE.
School went by quickly. All my classes were typically easy. Hooray for that 150 I.Q. of mine. I sat with Yumi, Fai, Katie, Gabi, and my small group of other friends at lunch. No big deal. Average day. Until I got home, of course.
So, when I waltzed into my house in my normal fashion, sulkingly with my arms crossed, I found an odd sight. My mother speaking excitedly with some dude in a black suit.
I know what you're thinking. Big guy, black suit, haven't I heard this? Well, whatever.
ANYWHO, my mother saw me and screeched. And I mean SCREECHED. We're talking permanent ear drum damage. "HONEYYY!!!! THERE'S SOMEONE TO SEEE YOUUUU!!!"
"THANKS MA!" I shouted to be as equally raucous. She frowned, and I grinned. Awesome.
"Juliet, darling, this man is Mr. Allan. Mr. John Allan."
My eyes went wide at the name. Son of a blueberry muffin! John Allan, the BIGGEST agent around. Everyone knew his name, he started so many careers... Why the hell was he here?
My questions were answered before they were out of my mouth.
"Juliet Grey, lovely to meet you dear," boomed Mr.Allan in a deep, Baltimore- accented baritone, "Hon, you're gonna be big. Huge. A star!"
I stared at him, dumbstruck and skeptical. How could I, Juliet Marie Felicity Grey, become a "star" as he put it. I'm just your average Jane Doe. I'm the girl in the background who blends in, a nobody. How in hell did this happen?
"And how do I become this 'big star', Mr.Allan?" I doubiously replied.
"Girl," He answered excitedly," Have I got a gig for you!"

Comedy. Modeling. Acting. Singing. Dancing. Martial Arts. Weapons training. Yep, I was doing it all.
How did this guy know I could sing? Tell jokes? Act? Dance? Do an epic roundhouse kick? Swing a kilij? I mean, I can, but... This dude has GOT to be a psychic... Whatever.
"Fine. Let's do this."
He grinned his big-city smile.
And there went my semi-normal life.

Sorry it's short. Will try to edit and add. I'll be going away for a few days, dental surgery then vacation, but in that time I'll try to write the first chapter. And try to make it long. And add to this. Please read the rest of this, I have great vibes about it ^-^
Love you all!
-Mairin, which, by the way, is my name. GO IRISH NAMES!
