The Case

Jennifer's (JJ's) P.O.V.

Its just a lazy day at the B.A.U, i can see Reid is reading a book turning the pages every 5 seconds, and Garcia our technical analysts is on the phone probably getting us another case to work on. I wonder where we will have to fly out to now; i hope it's a local case.

Garcia comes in and says, "We have another case". We follow her into the round room where Agent Derek Morgan, Agent Aaron Hautchner (we call him Hautch for short, Agent David Rossi and Agent Emily Prentiss are waiting. Garcia turns the TV on and says Will Lamontagne has called us for a serial killer case, will Lamontagne is my husband we have a son together called Henry.

I'm so exited to work with my husband; Agent Morgan turns around and says "looks like we are working a local case with your husband". As the day goes on we meet with Will and Will and I go to talk to the victims family while Reid and Derek go to the crime scene and Rossi and Hautch go the morgue where the bodies are.

The killer is hunting blonde girls in their late 20s to early 30s. Will sits the family down and says, "hi my name is detective William Lamontagne jr and this is Agent Jennifer Jareau with the FBI and we would like to ask you some questions if that's ok". The mother and father sit down. "Was your daughter into anything like drugs or alcohol" i say. "No nothing like that" the mother says while wiping her eyes. "Look we know this is hard but did Kate your daughter seem distant lately" Will asks. "As i said Kate was a good girl always did everything right, worked hard and never gave up on anyone" says the mother almost crying now. "Thank you for your time" Will says as we get up to leave.

We leave without saying anything else Will and I get into the car. "I hate talking to families," i say to Will. "Its always so sad" i say sympathetically. Will kisses me on the check and says, "We just have to catch this guy". When we get to the station the rest of the team are there, i tell them about what the parents told me. Rossi says "when we went to look at the bodies they all had a cross on there stomach, like a burn mark and were severely tortured with cold water, electrocuting and beating the girls up".

Morgan says "we found a gun at the crime scene it belongs to a Matthew Borg who lives in the area. "The police are bringing him up now," says Hautch. I look at the door and see two police officers dragging Mathew in who is trying to get away like he has something to hide. They take him into the interrogation room,reid says "judging by the look on his face he looks concerned studies show that 85% of people who show that face are trying to hide something". "You have a statistic for everything don't you," says Emily in a sarcastic voice.
