Chapter 5

Marshall PoV 

After Fionna stopped crying I grabbed her shoulders and pushed her off my chest so i can see a better view of her. I bent down a little to reach her level (since she was a little shorter then me)

"Lets go home" I told her

"ok "she replied while sniffing her nose.

I grabbed her hand and started to walk the path in front of us. She followed with a gallop, i noticed she was kind of dragging her left leg while running after me. As we were walking through the forest I noticed she was still limping. So I turned around and grabbed her legs and lifted her up and carried her in bridal style once again like the time she fell off the mountain.

"W-What are you doing?!?!?!she questioned

The flushed confused look on her face made a smile across my face.

"I am going to carry you out of here." I replied with the same smile on my face.

"What do you mean carry me?I can walk myself. She was pushing my chest trying to get away.I just ignored her and kept on smiling "Marshall WAIT-"I cut her off by running at full speed through the forest. I have to run because I. still dont have ***** to fly.(A/N: idk how he flys so idk its a secret?)

I jumped off of the sides of the trees for fun. I looked at Fionna she had an arm around my neck and another on my chest. She was laughing, with the brightest smile she had for a while....even though we were both laughing and having lots of fun reality hit me.... we were going the wrong way so I stopped and looked at Fionna. She looked up at me for a while with a grin still on her face from all the laughing she was doing when running further through the forest. It was just before sunset when she chased after me, now it is dark with the moons glow hitting her face.

"Um...hey Fionna.... dont get mad but I think we are going the wrong way." I was afraid her smile would vanish for me to never see again. I thought her attitude would hit me but she sat there grinning still.

"Well lets try and find a way out then" she spoke with a grin still on her face.I was still in shock of her reply I sighed.

"Ok well I guess we should get going then"I smiled back at her. I started to get ready to bolt forward, but Fionna gripped on my red flannel shirt. I looked down at her face she was looking at her hands while playing with her fingers.

"What is it?" I asked her.

"Lets just walk okay I want to enjoy the night sky" she looks down and pointing with her index finger, blushing as she said this. Wait so what does she want?This is not like her,not the fearless adventurous Fionna the human. Although she might not be acting the same right now , I kinda like this side of her that only I got to see.

"ok" i replied.After i replied I started to walk in the right direction to head out of the forest. I can see why she would want to see the sky its really nice out. I continued to stare at the sky like it was the first time I have seen one in forever.

Fionna POV 

While walking through the forest I notice Marshall not looking forwards but up. The light hit his face making him look beautiful. I blushed wondering why I am thinking like this. This thought reminded me of the night he almost kissed me, making my face completely red. When i looked back at Marshall he was already staring at me, noticing that he stopped walking made my heart skip a beat. I didnt notice at all how long has he been looking at me? Well not that I should complain since I was looking at him too. I didn't want to ruin our friendship, personally I don't want anything to change between us, but why wasn't I looking away my heart beating faster and faster. I turned my head knowing my face was completely red, I regretted this decision when Marshall grabbed my chin puling us closer. His dark red eyes met my blue ones, his forehead hit mine making me flinch a little. Our noses touched he leaned in even closer to make our lips meet. I rose my hand to hold his cheek making this ever lasting moment break by Marshall pulling his head away he had a slight blush, almost nothing compared to mine. The next moment I smiled still holding his left cheek with my right had, his skin is cold and pale but I still felt the warm in his skin. The moment shattered with a snap making out heads turn to see Cake looking at us through the bushes, completly shocked.

Sorry this was short school just ended (with me crying lol) So SUMMER BREAK=MORE UPDATES YAY I tried the romantic scene I hope it was okay well gtg bye
