Wreck

Maddie's POV//

"The booze isn't going to fix you Maddie, just put it down." My little sister whispered so greg didn't hear.

I played with my matted hair previous from partying, trying to forget what happened hours earlier.

The strong smell of tequila mixes lingered in my breath.

"I'm going out, and I'm gonna forget that dick ever existed." I slurred my words so much you could barely tell a v from an o.

"No, what you're gonna do is go to bed with water and some advil." 15 year old Kenzie said whilst guiding me to my room.

"NOOO! I WANT BEERRR!!" I whined like a 5 year old in ToysRus.

"I'm calling Josh." She said bluntly.

I grabbed her forearm and hissed in her ear, "I swear to god if you do you will never live to see another day."
Almost sounding sober.

Phone Call between Mackenzie and Josh.

Josh: (sleepily) Hello?

Kenzie: Is this the Josh Hyland I've been hearing about? (drunken yells in background)

Josh: Is that Maddie in the background? Is she drunk?

Kenzie: Beyond drunk and wants to go party and drink even more.

Josh: I'm going over there.

Kenzie: Please do.

(end of call)

"You little bitch I thought I told you not to call him." I sneered in Mackenzie's face.

"Whether you like it or not Maddie, he is the one you need right now." She said in a soft voice.

After that I stayed silent until he made his way to the basement, where we were.

"Maddie.." Josh said in a hushed voice.

I closed my eyes and turned around.

He came over and picked me up bridal style and I didn't even fight him off.

"Let's get you to bed." He said faintly.

I was carried up to my room to be slipped under the blankets.

"Stay?" I asked him, even though I kind of hated him at the moment, I wanted him to stay.

"For a little while, but I'll be back in the morning." He whispered.

I had my eyes shut ready to fall asleep when I heard a whisper.

"That was no friendly kiss."

I smiled and curled up closer to him before drifting to sleep.
