"Mum where the hell are you?" I shouted as soon as she picked up the phone.
"I'm stuck at work Avery you knew that. Can't you ask one of your friends to take you home?"
"No mum because guess what? School finished an hour ago and I'm still here, standing in the middle of a thunder storm getting fucking soaking wet!"
"You're 18 years old Avery. Find your own way or get the God Damn bus instead!" And with that she hung up.
'Fuck you' I muttered to myself as I started the long walk to the bus stop. I love my mum but sometimes she really doesn't understand me at all. I wonder If she even knows her own daughter sometimes because all she ever does is work. She's almost never home, and when she is she's always busy filing papers or having her 'me' time. I suppose there are a few positives to my situation. I could have house parties and boys round all the time, except oh yeah I forgot. I have like 3 friends.
Before I could ponder anymore on my lack of friends I saw the bus pull into the bus stop a few metres in front of me. As I leapt onto the bus and paid for my ticket I turned to see it was jam packed full. No way was I going to stand, my legs were about to give way, literally. I scanned the bus for an empty seat and nearly jumped for joy when I saw one at the back.
As I plopped onto the glorious seat I took my time to look at the person next to me. It was a boy with lond curly hair wearing a grey hooded jumper and black ripped skinny jeans. He had his head down and his arms stuffed in the pockets of the jumper. I desperately wanted to see his face and look at him in more detail, but I noticed I'd been staring at him way too long for it to look like a quick stare and it was starting to become a ' i'm undressing you with my eyes' stare.
When the bus got to my stop I stood up and saw the boy's eyes flick up to me. He quickly looked away when he noticed I was looking back at him.
Wow. He was really hot.
Okay so this is my first fanfiction so give me a break:')

FanficIt's a book-worthy love story. It seems perfect. Too good to be true. But he's hiding something. Something big.
