So I had P.E. with a ton of my friends, but for every so many of anything pleasent, comes at least one thing that makes you gag. Let it be broccoli with pork and potatoes, or all the cookies in a batch perfect except for that one burned one, or whatever, but in this case it was amongst all of my friends there was that one "she-devil," Jennifer. Out of the 1000 kids at my school SHE had to be in MY P.E. class? But whatever, I don't care. I mean what do you do with that one burned cookie? If you said throw it away you are..... wrong!! You feed it to the dog!!!! So ya there was no way she was gonna like me, and really, I didn't want her to! I saw her and some of her friends looking at me and talking so I just walked to the other side of the gym. The  coaches let us just sit and talk for most of the class so I was talkin to my friends then I zoned out, like I always do cause I'm ADOLAS (just FYI that means attention deficit oh look a squirrl!) but they moved spots! I mean they just left me there staring off into space! So anyway this black chick (I'm not raceist) comes up to me and we start talking and I asked her what her name was and you'll never believe what she said!! "Asia Lee, what about you?" "Elizabeth Hall, but most everybody calls me Lizzy" I replied adding, "your the girl that has played the clarinet for two years so you are in concert band now, right?" she looked impressed that I knew that all from her name, "ya" she said, "how'd you know all that?" "Ms. Bran and Mrs. Stung were talking about you in band this morning." I explained "Oh, okay" she said. "You might find this as a mean question but, has anyone ever made fun of your name? Like called you continent or something?" I asked cause I was wondering if it bothered her, she said "Ya actually people call me that a lot" "Does it not get on your nerves?" "No I just laugh with 'em" 'Good she has a good sense of humor' I thought. We talked and got to know each other and she seemed really cool so we became friends and hung out all P.E. When that period ended we said bye and walked to our individual lockers, which we found out that her's was in the set next to the set mine was in (if that makes any sense), and packed up. On the schedule it just said 8th period, which confused me. I asked 'Chelly "What is 8th period?" "I have no idea, but I guess were about to find out!" she replied. I walked to my class and guess who was in there! Asia!!

Mrs. Huttman explained that 8th period was the class at the end of the day for you to cool off after school and just read. "Are we allowed to do homework during this class?" I asked, "No, because in the state of Alabama kids your age are requred to read a certin amount of time a day, and I would bet that none of you pleasure read every day." she explained, 'Well that proves you know nothing about me' I thought, but I just let it go. She said she would let us talk but just for the first day so me and Asia got to know each other better. This was gonna be an awesome year I just knew it.
