The next day was Sunday. Which gave Danny more time to be flirty.

He invited Sam over and told her Tucker was sick as an excuse to have her alone.

Right now they were in Danny's room, Danny lying on the bed and Sam sat on his bean bag. They were bored, quietly checking their phones.

Danny looked away from his phone, one arm falling beside him and the other over his eyes. He let out a small and quiet sigh as he pulled his arm away from his face, his eyes drifting over to Sam.

She was playing a game on her phone, still bored.

'Might as well start flirting, lying around isn't gonna do anything' Danny thought to himself. He slowly slipped off his bed, sitting up on the edge, being given a very small headache from laying down too long. Danny put on a blank face and walked slowly to Sam, staring down at her, she looking up from her phone.

"What?" She said, slightly confused and amused. (A/n I could write poems with all this rhyming! Uhm... Back to the story...heh...)

Danny just gave a small smile and sat down on the floor, now having to look up at her.

Sam put her phone back into her pocket. "What?" Sam repeated, slightly mad, but mostly confused as to what he was doing.

"You're so adorable."

Sam blushed. "Excuse me?"

"You're also pretty hot."

Sam's blush deepened. Her mouth opened but nothing came out.

"You're hot and adorable at the same time. I like it."

"Uhhhm... Thanks Dan." She smiled, which Danny returned.

They started staring at each other for a bit, until Sam's phone buzzed. She checked her messages, her parents wanted her home. Sam let out a small breath she didn't know she was holding, her cheeks still a little pink. She ruffled Danny's soft raven hair, starting to get up, which made him chuckle.

"I gotta go Dan, but I'll see you at school, Kay?"

She hesitantly gave Danny a small peck on the cheek before leaving the room.

Danny just sat there, on the floor, processing what just happened, but really, he was having a mini-party in his head. It wasn't a fake-out-make-out, nor was it their first real kiss. But it would happen soon enough.
