Divided (Scourge x Cat! Rouge! Reader x Tigerstar)

Chapter 1

"Leaf! Go hunt for me, will ya?" Ginger rasps. "Right away, Ginger!" Leaf calls back, bounding out of their alleyway. "Thanks, Leaf." Ginger calls. Leaf's ears twitch, and she smiles. Leaf opens her mouth to scent prey, or something to eat, in the alleyway. She hardly sleeps because Ginger needs to eat. She's a hungry, grumpy, old badger! Leaf thinks, letting out a purr of amusement. She scents a cat, but there's something different about this cat. Another scent mingles with it. Leaf follows the scent, being as silent as possible. Leaf almost gasps as she sees a massive brown tabby tom, and a slightly smaller silver tabby tom.

"Bolder, are you sure we're going the right way?" The dark brown tom mews. "Yes, Tigerstar. I'm sure. Even though I haven't been here in a long time, Scourge rules Twoleg Place." 'Bolder' mews. "Good. He's strong, correct? He'll help me with my plan?" 'Tigerstar' asks. "Yes, but only if you offer him something in return that he wants. Show respect, Tigerstar. Scourge is capable of most anything." 'Bolder' meows. "Just who do you take me to be, Boulder? A rouge? Firestar? I'm Tigerstar, leader of ShadowClan!" Tigerstar meows, flexing his claws. Leaf stifles another purr of amusement. Tigerstar's ears twitch. "Who's there?" He hisses, turning around.

Leaf crouches lower as she sees his face. Right above his muzzle there's a scar, and in his right ear has a nick in it. His amber eyes are sweeping the alleyway. "I heard something, Bolder." He mews, turning to his companion. "I don't doubt that, Tigerstar." Boulder meows, nervous. "Boulder? What are you doing here?" Leaf shrinks as she hears Bone's voice. "We have come to make a deal with Scourge." Tigerstar mews, bowing his head to Bone. "If that's allowed, of course." Boulder adds quickly, bowing his head too.

"Still have manners, do you? What business do you have with BloodClan?" Bone asks. "We have come to make a deal with Scourge." Tigerstar repeats. "Alright then. Let's go." Bone mews, padding away. Bolder and Tigerstar follow Bone, and Leaf lets out a breath of relief. She shakes her fur, stands up, and continues to hunt for Ginger. Leaf couldn't shake Tigerstar out of her head. She pads back to her alleyway, with a mouse in her jaws.

"What took you so long?" Ginger rasps, as Leaf drops the mouse by her, and sits next to Ginger, grooming her fur. "I saw a different kind of cat." Leaf confesses. Ginger stirs, looking Leaf in the eyes. "Did they smell like the forest?" Ginger asks. Leaf tilts her head. "The forest? No, it smelled like freshness." She mews.

"That's the forest little one. Clan cats are there name. Very dangerous." Ginger mews. "One of their names was Tigerstar, and the other one was Bolder." Leaf meows. Ginger freezes, shaking her head. "Bolder? That traitor." She hisses, unsheathing her claws. "Bone knew who Bolder was." Leaf mews. "What did they say?" Ginger asks, her tail flicking. "They said they had a deal for Scourge." Leaf responds, wrapping her tail around her paws.

"Scourge better not make the deal. Clan cats are known for their tricks." Ginger meows. Leaf shrugs, and she flicks her ears when a shadow falls across Ginger. "Who are you, and what do you want with ShadowClan?" Tigerstar hisses, and he pounces at Leaf. Leaf barely doges, sticking out her paws to trip him. Tigerstar trips, and Leaf takes the advantage to claw his shoulder.

"You're no kittypet, then." Tigerstar mews, getting up. "No, I'm not a kittypet." Leaf mews, looking at Ginger. "You ok, Ginger?" She asks the old she-cat. "Yeah, fine. Where did you learn those moves?" She asks. "My mother, and you." Leaf responds, grooming her forever messy and dirty fur. Ginger smiles, and Tigerstar retreats to the entrance of the alleyway.

"Whose your mother?" He asks. Leaf looks up at him, eyes shining. "Suncloud." She mews, and Tigerstar's eyes show surprise. "Suncloud? I thought she died!" He mews. "No. She just left to be with her mate-" Leaf starts to explain before Ginger cuts her off. "Clan cats aren't to be trusted." She reminds Leaf, and Leaf dips her head to Ginger. "I remember, Ginger. Did Scourge agree to the deal?" She mews, turning back to Tigerstar. Tigerstar narrows his eyes. "Why should I trust you?" He asks. "Why don't I tell Scourge that Clan Cats can't be trusted?" Leaf threatens, and Tigerstar takes a step back. "You're right, kittypet. Clan cats can't be trusted. ShadowClan should be feared." He mews, looking at Leaf. "What if you joined us?" Tigerstar asks. Leaf just stares, in shock.

"Found you, Tigerstar. Then again, you aren't to hard to find." A higher pitched voice cuts the silence between the two cats. Scourge's red collar studded with teeth makes a grinding noise as he moves. Leaf jumps, then bows. "Somecat has manners. I thought I told you to leave, Tigerstar. Leave my cats alone." Scourge mews, padding past Tigerstar. "She doesn't look like BloodClan." Tigerstar retorts. "Whose territory are you on right now, Tigerstar?" Scourge mews, eyes narrowing. "Nice to see you again Ginger, and Leaf." Scourge mews.

Leaf slowly backs away from Scourge and Tigerstar, and over to Ginger. Tigerstar's fur is fluffed out, watching Leaf and Scourge. "I thought BloodClan was every cat fending for themselves. Besides, why should you care about this one she-cat?" Tigerstar presses. Scourge's fur bristles, then flattens. "I don't." He mews, but Leaf flicks her ear.

That was forced! Scourge cares for me? Leaf thinks, flexing her claws. Tigerstar didn't pick up on the forced mew. "Well then, what do you say? Are you going to join ShadowClan or not?" Tigerstar mews, turning to Leaf. Scourge turns to look at Leaf, desperation in his ice blue eyes. Leaf turns to Ginger, who slightly nods. Leaf smiles at her, but behind her back, Scourge glares at Ginger.

Leaf turns back to Tigerstar. "I'll join." She mews, padding forward to Tigerstar. Tigerstar's eyes show a hint of surprise, but it quickly turns to triumph. "Alright, let's go." He mews, turning and padding out of the alleyway. Leaf turns to follow him. "Leaf, don't trust Tigerstar. He's dangerous." Scourge hisses quietly. "I'm sorry Scourge." Leaf whispers, before dashing after Tigerstar.

Leaf winces as she hears a shriek of pain come from the alleyway. Scourge killed Ginger! But why? Leaf thinks, tears streaming down her face. "Why are you crying? It's only some old she-cat." Tigerstar mews gruffly. "That she-cat was my caretaker!" Leaf hisses, her tail lashing. The silver tabby named Bolder pads up to them. "Tigerstar, why is a rouge joining us?" He asks, but Tigerstar silences him with a flick of his tail. "Silence, Bolder. How do we get out?" He asks.

Bolder leads the way in silence. Leaf looks around, as Twoleg Place fades to soft grass and oak trees. (ThunderClan Territory) "Be very quiet, Leaf. This is enemy territory." Tigerstar whispers, and Leaf nods. Tigerstar pads in front of Bolder, and Bolder falls into a single file line after Tigerstar. Leaf follows Bolder, wondering what this was about. Leaf wrinkles her nose as a foresty scent reaches her nose.

"That's ThunderClan." Bolder murmurs to Leaf. Leaf half-smiles at him. A different scent, one with pine mixed in with it. "That's better. It smells like pine. I've smelled pine before." Leaf murmurs. "Good, because that's ShadowClan. Wait till you see camp." Tigerstar mews, relaxing. Leaf eyes widen. "There's more?" She asks. "Of course. And more beyond Mothermouth!" Bolder mews, and Leaf smiles. "What about StarClan?" She asks. Tigerstar tilts his head. "You know about StarClan? Well, it is Suncloud." He mews. "Her mother was Suncloud?" Bolder asks. "Yes, Bolder." Tigerstar mews. "But I thought-" Bolder starts but Tigerstar silences him with a flick of his tail.

(Making up some names, due to lack of them!)

"Tigerstar? May I speak with you?" A large white tom with black feet mews, padding up to them. "Of course, Blackfoot. Littlecloud, Amberspots, and Thrushfeather. Take Leaf, and get the grime out of her fur." Tigerstar mews, flicking his tail.
