It is December 31, 2011. Kelly, a 9 year old girl, is having fun with her family. Her parents really love her for she was the only child in her family. Her mother is Mavis while her father is Mark. They are good parents to their only child Kelly. They have a good time with each other. They really love each other. They are living in a small house in a remote place in their city. She is studying in a school far away from their house. She travels two hours before she arrive on school. This is the main reason why she is always late in their class.

Ms. Leila: Kelly! You're late again? Why are you always late? I told you before to wake up early so you can catch up to our lessons.
Kelly: (nervous) I-I'm sorry teacher. I will not be late again.
Ms. Leila: How many times you need to say that?! Your always late! Go to the Moderator's office and talk to your grade moderator.
Kelly: But..
Ms. Leila: No but's. Just go! Now!
Kelly: Yes teacher.. (went to the moderator's office)
Moderator: Oh, Ms. Kelly. You're late again?
Kelly: Yes sir. I caught up in a heavy traffic when I'm almost here.
Moderator: I understand that..
Kelly: Really?! Will you not give me a detention? (smiles)
Moderator: I'm sorry but as your grade moderator, I have to give you a one week detention for having being late for a week. I'll talk to your parents later. Here's your pass. (gave the pass to Kelly) Now.go back to your class.
Kelly: *sigh* okay sir. (walked to her class) *knock* *knock* Good morning Sir Gakupo, may I come in?
Mr. Gakupo: You may. Oh, Kelly, are you late again?
Kelly: Yes sir. And our adviser Ms. Leila didn't forgive me this time. It's been a week that she is not forgiving me. *sigh*
Mr. Gakupo: It's because you're always late. Just come in, give me your pass, take your sit and we'll start our lesson for today.
Kelly: Yes Sir. (took her sit)
(Kelly did her best in her lessons that morning so she can prove to their adviser that she can follow up to their lessons even though she's always late. During their lunch time... )
Faye: Wooo! It's lunch time! Hey Kelly, Pam and Joy! Let's go and eat together!
Kelly, Pam, Joy: Oh sure! That's a great idea.
(Kelly, Faye, Pam and Joy went to the canteen to eat together. While on their way, they saw a girl crying and Kelly decided to meet her up.)
Kelly: Uhm.. Hi. What's the problem? Why are you crying? Uhm.. Is it alright if i talk to you? By the way, my name is Kelly. How about you?
Lia: (crying) uhm.. Hi too.. Uhm.. My name is Lia.. Don't worry about me. I'm fine..
Kelly: No. You're not fine. Come on. Tell me what's wrong.
Lia: (crying) uhm.. I've been late for a week so I have to take one week detention.. My parents don't know about this.. I'm afraid of what they might do when our moderator callef them and tell them what happened..
