Divergent truth or dare

Chapter 7

Tris POV:
We go to breakfast after the whole knife throwing incident. Christina was trying to hold back her still ongoing laughter. I kinda feel bad for Will. I mean, yeah that water was cold but if I knew he was going to be a chicken about having knives thrown at him I wouldn't have done it.

As we neared the cafeteria Christina finally stopped. "Remember you two have to sleep in the same room for a week." She then walked off with Will to a table. "Don't dwell on that now Tris, let's just eat." And with that he steered me to a table where there was eggs and bacon.

After we finished breakfast, Four and I headed to my room. "It's pretty big to live in so I think we'll be okay." I told him. He nodded and looked at the door we stopped at. Opening the door I let him walk in first before going in myself and locking the door behind me.

"It's about the same size as my place. And I'll just get some stuff from my place later today if that's all right." Four said. I nodded and sat on the couch. He came over and sat next to me. "Tris" he said. I turned and looked at him. "I'm sorry about having to stay here."

I smiled and hugged him. "It's okay Four, I'm all right with it." I heard him sigh in relief and hug me back. We stayed hugging for a good couple of minutes. And I swear that I could smell a hint of some kind of cologne, which just wanted me to stay in this hug for longer. But alas, all good things must come to an end. Four pulled away and looked down at me.

"You know Tris, since we'll be living together all week, why don't you call me by my real name, Tobias." I stared at him for a moment open mouthed. Tobias, Tobias, Tobias. I've heard that name before. Wait...

"Tobias, as in... Tobias Eaton? From Abnegation?" He looked away and put his gaze on anything but me. "The one and only. But I really don't want to be associated with my monster of a father, so I moved to Dauntless and got myself a nickname."

Monster of a father? So that means... "The rumors were true then? Did he really beat you?" Darn it Tris! Why did you have to say that out loud?! He just said that he didn't want to associate with the guy, why do you think that he would answer such a question about him then?!

Tobias looked at you, then at the floor, and finally responded surprisingly with a nod. I gasp and hug him, and he hugs back after a moment of shock. "No one should have to go through that. And I'm sorry that you did. But you showed him that you are better than him by coming to Dauntless and also becoming a trainer. And I have a feeling that if he ever showed up now, you can take him on easily and win."

I felt myself being squeezed a little before being let go. I looked up to see Tobias staring at me with a soft smile on his face. "Thank you for saying that. And you're right, I can probably win against that monster now, and I did show him. You're amazing Tris." With that, he leans down and kisses me, and I kiss back.

Man, a lot has happened today.

Hello everyone! I'm uploading after about 2 years of not! The main reasons behind that is 1) School with all of it's tests, homework, projects, and after school clubs that I was forced to go to. 2) I had major writers block. 3) I lost inspiration, and detailed knowledge about the Divergent series. Over the past two years, I've read so many books/book series that Divergent is basically a lost memory, but it doesn't mean that I won't try to finish this story, it'll just probably be shorter than all of the other stories out there. And finally 4) Harry Potter has taken over my inspiration and fandom life. Basically, I've had about five different Harry Potter fanfiction ideas and so far started about two. So after saying all of this, I hope that you'll understand why I wasn't updating, but due to request I made another chapter. It just took a while. But thank you everyone for reading this, it means a lot 😊. Bye!
