Interview with AirInTheOcean the author of Take A Bite

1. Describe yourself and anything you find interesting about yourself.
Well I'm from the UK and I currently live in York but I was born in Manchester.mI've lived with my parents all my life with no siblings and a mass amount of animals from all ranges, I'm currently in the last year of high school (year 11) and I'm focusing on A-level drama, media studies, biology and psychology. I'm quite confident in myself and knowing who I am, I'm really open minded

2. 10-15 random facts about you and/or your characters.
1) no matter what I will always choose to eat chicken
2) I am shoe size six but I fit in sizes 5 and 7
3) I do see the big deal with Leonardo DiCaprio, he's an amazing actor and I love his name but I really don't see the big deal - sorry to his absolute fans
4) I'm 5"6 1/2 - talker than my mum almost as tall as my dad
5) my character Jax was originally meant to be one of Preston's siblings meaning he was meant to be the boy triplet
7) I don't even know if 'Tayte' is a name but I liked it so that's what she's called
8) I have Glaucoma, Google it if you don't know what it is
9) only one in my family with blue eyes
10) my character Hunter is based off a guy I've liked since year 8 (I think I've got over him now but I don't know ...)
11) my dad used to be a boxer and my grandad a wrestler
12) I get really jealous of actors my age because ever since I can remember I've wanted to be an actress
13) despite having different ethnic ancestors I am paler than Casper the friendly ghost
14) now that I think about it Casper the friendly ghost is probably one of my ancestors
15) I don't have a preferred genre in anything

3. The story behind your username and your Wattpad.
My username: I like this quote about the ocean and it was talking about breathing(air) while drowning so I but them together and said 'in the ocean' - I realise that probably makes no sense to you
Wattpad: I wanted to read undiscovered books and so I googled it and wattpad was the first link and so I clicked on it and the rest was history

4. Do you wish to be a writer?
I have my heart set on other careers (like my acting career) but I have always loved doing it. I think everyone on Wattpad are writers, anyone who puts something onto paper or on computer is a writer. I'd like to be an author but there's a fine line between what you wish and what happens

5. What message would you give to people like you, your readers/fans
THANK YOU FOR STICKING WITH MY GOD AWFUL WRITING I LOVE YOU SO MUCH :D
And on a lower note. Probably to always listen to yourself and not others because you need to be you and learn things for yourself, if you listen to what people say then they might as well be your brain. Life is always going to be hard no matter who you are but that's what makes it life, nothing is easy or there'd be no point in it and nothing is set in stone mistakes don't break you they make you.

6. What are your inspirations?
Films, life, dreams, my imagination. Seriously I had a dream about a unicorn that could turn into a zombie and I wrote about it, no joke and I was 7 so don't you go and judge me ;)

7. What are your weaknesses and strengths?
Weaknesses: caring too much and too fast also I tend to be really quick on me feet(as in with my words/ comebacks) and I tend to have word vomit which gets me into some situations....
Strengths: listening, open mind, sarcasm which usually cheers people up and big mouth(as in I don't take no crap from no one *sassy click*)

8. Why do you write?
I used to and I still do write a journal because I don't like forgetting things, I can have a slow brain sometimes. It's also my way of expressing how I feel (other than talking and other ways I express myself), what I think and I also write because I love it

9. Hobbies.
I like to climb which is calming to me. I also like sport such as basketball, football and boxing(I see it as a sport) but I don't really do them that much. Sometime I just randomly say lines from films or plays and I do it quite a lot that it's a hobby. I like to dance...
