I still couldn't believe after all these years I didn't know that Nikolai had a brother. The countless surveliance I did on him when I was in the CIA I've never seen him interact with a relative.
I knew Nikolai was over protective of his family that's why their kept off the grid, but what I really can't understand is why let your little brother out in a world of crime?
Maybe theirs more to it than what meets the eye, maybe Nikolai was planning to leave his criminal empire to his brother.
Still it just doesn't add up, how does a over protective brother suddenly drops his guard and welcomes his younger brother in a world of crime?
"You OK?" Josh voice interrupted my thoughts.
I released the breath I was holding and relaxed in my plane seat."Just thinking over somethings."
Josh raised a quizzical brow."Anything I can help with?"
"Probably." I took out the case files." Why would you think Nikolai would let his brother in on the action now?"
Josh looked at me confused." I think your mistaken but this case is about Yuri."
"Who so happens to be the younger brother of Nikolai Makarov."
"How'd you figure that out?" Josh asked.
"Um a friend of mine told me, but anyways I think it's best we take Yuri as leverage to get his brother out of hiding."
Josh rubbed his chin." Killing two birds with one stone, but it's too risky."
"How so?"
"It just doesn't sit right with me, Nikolai has gone through so much trouble to keep all family off the grid so why bring your little brother in it all of a sudden? I think his younger brother is just a liability, maybe he's setting him up."
I sat up straight in my seat." I don't think so family is too important to Nikolai."
Josh unbottened his jacket button." I agree but even family can fall out."
"Is there anything I can get you gentlemen?" The flight attendant asked.
We shook our head and she left.
I reverted my attention back to Josh."Maybe we should just take them down ourselves."
Josh chuckled."Easy there Rambo remember we have to follow protocol, they want them in custody."
"Custody my ass, a bullet in the head would do the justice."
Josh grinned." Well we all can't get what we want now can we."
"I guess so, is their anyone else from the CIA who'll be working with us?"
Josh placed the neck rest around his neck and relaxed." We'll know once we get there."
I glanced out the window playing with my thoughts. After four years I'm coming Makarov, let the games begin.
