=CHAPTER 7= Gotto Do What Ya Gotto Do

I got up early the following morning, my match up with a Victor will have to wait, we got news from the Dr that we may have company today, as he reportedly picked up some activity in the forest not too far off , yea, it was too close for comfort, we could easily pass it off as hunters or innocent hikers, but we had too much to lose if we ever got found out, so our mission was simply to intercept and converge on the activity, report back, engage if its compulsory.

~ "All Agents and A level personnel to the deck!"

It was the intercom, it repeated a few more times before it stopped, I could hear traffic leading to the main room, so its time I thought, maybe I could go on a mission lead by Victor, I went outside my room and headed down the isle. As soon as I entered the room it was as if i was the star of the show, the attention was a bit uncalled for, but I braved it out anyway, I could now see the leaders of the other two squads, I found out they are just returning from a mission,
~ Hmmm, he's cute doctor, where you find him? I turned my head to see who's mouth had such sweet lines, I was in the spotlight now, I could hear a couple snickers and chuckles going round, then she stepped out, she was the leader for squad 3, she slowly walked towards me, hands on my shoulder while asking if I was man enough to take Nightshade's place, " I don't think you are, but I like What I see, she was well toned, you could just see the command she had, she had a lollipop in her mouth that she toyed with while she stepped away from me, "Ok, listen up!" Today's mission is simple said Dr Hohaku we go prone and just check this out quickly, you know the drill, "Katrina", you sit this one out, you two "Tenma", you guys are fresh off a mission take the evening, "fine by me said Katrina, you could tell she had a easy going personality, Ok boss said Tenma, I guess he is the leader for squad 4 then, I kinda learnt that before I came here there were 5 squads but now only 4, I guess I don't get a squad to lead.
"Victor, you take lead on this one, and tell you what, take Aiko with you, it could do him some good, ... "No!, I won't go then, we all turned our heads, ... it was Shadow, " I won't go if he's on the squad, I don't trust him, Dr Hohaku stepped up and took the floor, "what do you mean?, what are you trying to say Shadow?, ..." I'm not going Doc!, he gave me a cold look then stepped away disappearing through the crowd, I held my head down and put my hands on my forehead, What the hell is his problem I thought, Very well, Carry on Victor, the target is 15 miles out and closing, it appears to be 3 figures on screen, are you Ok with this Victor?, Yes Dr, ill just take a soldier with me, .. "Ok your call, this meeting has been concluded, carry on, said the Dr.

The crowd slowly dispersed, as Victor walked up to me, " We leave next 10 minutes he said.
I returned to my room and in a few seconds of landing my ass on the bed, there was a knock, "Come in its open", the door slowly opened up, it was the Dr, "Hey Dr H, ... ... " Aiko!, I have a small upgrade to your suite, he said as he approached me with a small box, he opened it up and attached a small circular device that snapped to the top of my suite, "It's a camera, we see what you see as long as your suit is up, "Ok? I said, then he asked me to look around as he tested it, it's a go, he said smiling as he sat beside me, Aiko, be safe, your all I have left and the other agents, thank you for doing this, "No problem Dr, he then got up and left, I sat back down and there was another knock on my door, and this time It was Momo, she pushed the door up on her entrance, "Hey Aiko, good luck on your first mission, " thanks i quickly replied", What I really came about is to tell you is that your apart of the team now, you have made a vow to help us, thanks you Aiko, ... she looked me in the eye as we sat there, ....suddenly the door opened up, it was Victor!, he stood somewhat shocked looking, then he told me its time, and I should meet him in the training room, before going back the way he came, " See ya later Aiko, I got some stuff to get back to, Momo flashes a smile then hurriedly stepped out the room.

Victor and a soldier from his squad was suiting up by the time I made it to the training room, they didn't have suites like mine but they had advanced body armor, weapons and Interface equipped helmets for easy communication and in Intel, we are ready then this is it!, I was excited, now we had to get to top level to board a tactical helijet, big aircraft's they were, wasn't much different from the military types, this one is built with 6 highly sophisticated turbines making it pretty fast and it amazingly quiet!, I'm sure the doctor had something to do with that, We boarded the heli and strapped up for take off, we were all equipped with parachutes, before lift off, We slowly went up and before long we were quite high, I could see everywhere, I looked down and about, .... you just couldn't tell that a base was down there, its really well hidden, I looked out as the wings changed its direction and the heli shot off!, I was enjoying every moment, it was my first time flying, I had the strangest of grins hidden behind my mask, i looked around the heli and i could see weapons of all sorts, then it hit me, why was I the only one without a gun or something, " Hey Victor, don't I get a gun or something?, ... ..." You wont need one Its just a simple reconnoiter mission Aiko, the most you will be doing is observation and tactical approach he said, just sit back and enjoy it.

I glanced at the soldier beside me, he didn't say much, he actually didn't say anything since I met him, ... "We will be there in the next 5 guys get ready said Victor, ... 5 mins!! I was astounded at the speed of this craft, we just left about 4 mins ago!?, "Copy that boss, it was the soldier beside me, so he did speak after all, I looked over the horizon taking in the beauty of the ocean, i had terrible memories with it, I had to swim many miles that night, I was lost in thought, " Ready men!?, Victors voice shook me right out of my day dream, we will circle the drop zone before we bail out, just in case we don't have to get down there, I'm gonna get the area scanned again, we flew around while Victor scanned the area, I opted to look down just in case I could see anything happening below, ... Nope just tree's, we sat while awaiting what Victor had to say, I was getting an incoming feed on my screen, ... "Aiko!, ... It was Dr Hohaku!, ... I'm activating your camera now, have fun, .... he then hung up.

"OK , we have action, get ready we jump in on my mark, I held on to my straps, while we descended to the determined jump height, ... "GO GO!!, my heart was pumping so hard my pulse meter started to kick up speed, but with the suite acting as an extended body, it was still slow somewhat, all 3 of us jumped simultaneously out the craft, and was on our way down, looking around and staying in close proximity to Victor as possible, ... " We land on that clearing over there men, ... It was Victor over the intercom, i looked over to the clearing where we planned to land, ... then i heard the soldiers voice in my intercom, ... we were falling for about 30 seconds now when ... " Sir Something is approaching us and fast!, i scrambled my field of vision all over looking for whatever it is that was approaching, " What is it i yelled, but no one answered me, .. the Soldier couldn't identify the object, ... i finally caught sight of it, I could piss myself right here!, " What the hell is that, yelled Victor, ..... It glints and shine in the sun as it closes ground between us fast! ... " Is That a Hammer Sir ?!, asked the soldier, " A WHAT!!?, my worst fears are realized, We in a lot of shit if that "hammer" belongs to who i think does, It Zipped past us at astonishing Speed!, .. It missed !, yelled the soldier laughing, " No, it Didn't!, ... It was Dr Hohaku!, .... .... That hammer wasn't meant for any a you!
