Friendzoned

Chapter one

Sofia's POV

I guess you could say that I'm a ordinary girl. I mean which girl wouldn't want to be the most popular person, or the girl who has the hottest guy on earth as a boyfriend. Well that's not me. I'm just plain old boring.

I have a good amount of friends but only three I could say actually care about me.

I used to have a guy named Calum as one of my best friends, but when middle school started I admitted that I had feelings twords him, and ever since that day we have stopped talking. Now we are basically strangers.

I wonder what would have happened if I had never told him that. Would we still be best friends.

While I was thinking more about my boring life my mom called me for dinner. My family consists of a mom a dad an older brother and a younger sister. As you problem noticed I'm the middle child. Oh joy *note the sarcasm *

Today was my last day of spring break, and I was looking forward to seeing my best friend tomorrow. As you can see I have made new friends ever since Calum left me. A part of me always wishes that he were still to be my best friend, he knew everything about me.

My new best friend is named Clair. Clair and I have been through a lot together. I have known her since third grade but we never talked until freshman year of high school.

" are you looking forward to going to school tomorrow " my mom asked me.

Sometimes I happen to wonder if parents were blind, incase she's never noticed I HATE school. The only reason I go to school is because all my friends are their.
But I just answer and say

" not really " and my part of the conversation is over.

You see I'm not the family favorite. I'm most likely the child that they like the least. I sometimes feel like I was switched at birth. My brother and sister both have some things personality wise in common are parents. I mean I may look like them but other then that I'm a total outcast.

When I finished dinner I got a lot of texts from Clair.

Best friend~ hey I need to talk to u like rn can we meet up somewhere.

My family doesn't like to have people using their phones during dinner so my phone was spammed by her texts.

Me~ yeah wanna meet up at the mall.

Best friend~ yeah sure I'll meet u there.

...

When my mom dropped me off at the mall I texted Clair tell her that I was here, and we decide to go to the Starbucks.

Claire's POV
I'm so glad that Sofia and I could hang out. I really needed to talk to her.

" so what did you need to talk about " she asked me.

Okay here goes nothing.

" So you remember Calum right " I asked her.

Sofia's POV

" yeah..." I tell her
" well he asked me out and now we are dating "
I literally feel like someone just slapped me in the face.
