CHP 9: The Mind Reader

Zee's POV

"I know your soulmate are always around you," Mrs Lee said.

"But how did you know?" I asked.

"I can tell it," she said.

Seriously?

"Then, who is my soulmate?" Aay asked eagerly.

"I can't tell you who it is. It won't be fun."

"Ey~ do you really need to hide it?" Aay complained.

"Now, get back to the lesson!" Mrs Lee said.

We pay full attention to the class and soon it was dismissal. I am still thinking. Our soulmate was always around us. But who?

A person that always around us. We are new in this school so how can we know? We don't have a lot of friends except for Exo.

One question. Is our soulmate the same species as us or a normal human? I was walking alone to our house since the rest still have some classes.

"Hey!" I heard a guy's voice. I turned back and saw Baekhyun, D.O and Chen.

"Oh, Hi!" I greeted.

"Where are you going?" D.O asked.

"My house," I answered.

"Your house is this way? What a coincidence!" Baekhyun said.

"Coincidence? Why?" I asked confused.

"Our house are also on this way," Chen said.

"Ahh... I see."

Then we walked together to our houses.

"Are you living alone?" Baekhyun asked.

"I live with Fi-- I mean Hyorin, Lin Ah and also Airen," I told them.

"How about your parents?" Chen asked.

Our parents? Tsk.

"Don't ask," I said looking away.

"Oops, sorry," Chen apologized.

"It's okay. You never know about it anyway," I smiled.

Soon, we reached my house.

"So, meet you on weekend?" D.O asked.

"Sure," I smiled.

"Bye!" They waved. I wait for them to walk away. After like one minute, I get in.

I walked upstair to my room and plopped myself on my comfy bed. I really missed my parents. Dad, are you listening to me?

I hope we can get back to Fantasy. But how?

Every happy moments of us with mom and dad together keep on flashing in my mind. My tears starts to flow.

If only mom didn't leave us, dad will never send us to Earth. Is he fine at Fantasy alone? Soon, I drifted off to sleep.

Suho's POV

"You should becareful next time," I warned Sehun.

"Sorry, I forgot that I shouldn't have said 'our house'," he explained.

"Ah... I got a letter from someone," I told them.

"From who? Secret admire?" Lay asked.

"I don't have any idea who give it but it's a threaten letter," I told them.

"Threaten letter? What did it say?" Xiumin asked.

"It says that I should becareful or else my power will be the next one to be taken," I said while showing them the letter.

"MHS34? It sounds familiar. Totally familiar," Kai said.

"I agree. But where did it come from?" Tao said.

"M..Miss? H.. Heo? S..S.. Sanghwa? I don't know!" Sehun said.

"Sanghwa? MHS stand for Miss Heo Sanghwa! Maybe it's her!" I said almost shouting.

"But, what about the 34?," Kris asked.

"Maybe we should have asked her first," I suggested.

"Tomorrow?" Kai said.

"Okay. Tomorrow," I confirmed.

Narration

Between all of them, there's still one, one person who know everything. He didn't speak up. Just listen to them.

A guy who have power to read people's mind. Luhan. He never told the others that he actually can read everyone's mind and there's no exception for him.

That was what special with his power.

But, the question is, why didn't Luhan spill it out? Why didn't he tell the others? Is he betraying them? There must be a reason.

"Luhan, I realized that you didn't speak a lot lately. Are you okay?" Xiumin asked.

"Oh! Sorry. I just don't know what to say," he answered.

"Is there anything that bother you?" Xiumin asked him worried.

"Don't worry about me," he smiled.

Soon, they reach their house. Luhan can't stop thinking about what had happened. He can't really accept the truth. In fact, he also know the person that threat Suho.

I just don't have the gut to tell everything to them at once when I have no idea what I should do next. I should plan everything perfectly first before I tell them.

Luhan thought. It seems like Luhan really concerned about the thing that might happen in the future. Can he figured things out?

While on the other side, Aay have a hard time to focus.

"Arghh!! This is really stressful! If only I know how to stop those nonsense talk and silence everyone!" Aay shouted.

"Why? Is there anything wrong?" Lily asked Aay.

"You know well that I can listen to anyone's conversations right? That was the reason. I can't even focus on my education!" Aay said furiously.

"You need to get use to it," Fifi said.

"How can I? This is just too much! I need to study more about these power and stop--" Aay suddenly stop from walking.

"Why?" Both Lily and Fifi asked.

"Did you heard that?" Aay said.

"How can we? You are the only one that can heard it clearly," Lily said.

"But, heard what?" Fifi asked curiously.

M.. Miss? H..Heo? S..S.. Sanghwa? I don't know!

"That is Sehun's voice. I am curious why I can only heard Sehun talking alone. Is he really talking by himself?" Aay asked.

"Impossible. There must be someone that he talked with. Can't you listen to it carefully?" Lily said.

"I told you that I can only heard his voice. He is apologizing so it means that he is talking with someone," Aay explained.

"Wait. I thought you can only listen to human's conversation and not the species like us. Am I right?" Fifi asked.

"Yup. You're right," Aay answered straight forward.

"Ah! You mean that there are other people like us on Earth?" Lily said.

"Well, that was what I've been thinking," Fifi said.

"We need to tell Zee about this," Aay said then the three of them continue walking back to their house.
