Chapter 32

Kalin's Pov.

No. What? How are they even here? Why are they even here?

I can't let anything happen to Becky!!! I mean Myles. I can't let anything happen to Myles.

Anyway I got out of my car and snuck around the side of the building. Avoiding the gun man who was wearing an all black baseball cap.

Who knows what's inside there. All I'm gonna do is grab Myles and Becky before this goes too far.

I arrived at the door and saw something that I would never want to see.

Becky was being pulled around. She was screaming for help. The guy who was holding her was trying to silence her.

She continued to scream for help as Myles was being punched in the stomach by another guy.

He was trying to fight back but he seemed more weak than usual. Then I remembered..

He just got out of surgery! That could kill him!

Becky screamed:

"Please! Don't hurt him"

The guy holding Becky spun her around and slapped her.

"Hey!" I yelled running in

The guy dropped Becky to the ground and pulled a gun on me.

I stopped dead in my tracks.

"Look. We were never here. We never saw you or this place. We leave and all of this never happened" Myles says negotiating.

"I don't think so." The guy holding the gun said. "Julio go take this lovely girl to the back" he said grabbing Becky's breast.

"Don't touch her you son of a bitch" I groan running some more.

"Ah ah ah." The man said waving his gun at me. "Not so fast pretty boy."

I froze and shook my head as Becky was dragged away by a guy with a screaming.

The thing that hurt was that she was screaming Myles' name.

"Now how did you find us" the guy said.

Me and Myles sat silenced. The man cocked his gun violently and yelled.

"Answer me"

"We..I- I was looking for Kalin." Myles stuttered.

Why was he looking for me? This is all my fault.

"You were looking for pretty boy? Okay then pretty boy why were you found here" he asked waving his gun back and forth.

"I- I was here to-" I thought about what I was about to say. If I told him I was trying to call the cops on him he might kill all of us.
"I was here because I saw the warehouse and wanted to buy it." I lied.

"You wanted to by this warehouse pretty boy?" The man asked.

I nodded my head nervously.

He started chuckling.

"I don't like liars pretty boy" he said shaking his had. "Get up"

I sat there in shock. Where's Becky?

"Get the fûck up!" He yelled.

I jumped to my feet and Myles slowly stood up. His poof was deflated and drenched in sweat.

"Follow me." He said as he pointed the gun in the direction we were supposed to walk in.

I followed the man and Myles followed me.

Becky's pov.

I was being dragged down a countless number of halls and corridors.

The man stopped me and pushed me against the wall.

He went to unlock a door and I ran for my life. I ran as fast as I could down the hall only to be caught seconds later.

"Look. I do my job. Please make it easy. You run? I catch you. You run far? Ricardo catch you. Ricardo catch you? You die. " he said pushing me against the wall. "Don't run"

I figured he was right. But I need to get out of here. This is crazy. Why was Kalin even here?!

I stood against the wall and felt my left cheek start to throb from the pain of the slap earlier.

I was so wrapped up in my thoughts that when another man walked toward us I jumped.

"Hey Marco" said Julio to the new guy.

What the hell is this place?

"Hola Julio" said the new guy in a thinner accent than the first guy. "I'll take over from here"

Julio walked away leaving me with the new guy. He watched to see when Julio had turn the corner than he grabbed me by my throat.

He started kissing me all over sloppy and wet. He was pulling down my pants till I kicked him in the nuts.

Bad move.

He cocked his arm back for a slap. And right when he released it:

"Hey! dejar de salir" Julio yelled pulling the guy off of me. "I'll do this transfer. Go back to warewatch" he said barking.

I've never been so happy to see a criminal.

I figured if I understood this place inside out I'd be able to escape.

Ricardo: nicer. Makes transfers?

Marco: pervert. Has gun.

I made mental notes.
