As though I am sleeping

Night is a time of beauty and rebirth
Though the day may be fun joyful upbringing
Night is a beautiful time filled with truth and self worth
Passing through the night
Might give quite a fright
But it may just reveal
Blocked emotions you feel
So today I am declaring the night ours
Now I'm not saying we should stay up for hours
I propose a minute
Just a minute
To think
Did we do a good deed
Did we make a bad seed
Were we nice enough
Should I act tough
These are things that you might ask yourself
Based on people's opinions and judgements
Let stand away from the crowd
Go through the night and be proud
Have a good feeling
Before you go to bed
Close your eyes and rest your sleepy heads
Then go through the night with no tears shed
